Wild celebrations as Portsmouth promoted to Championship

Portsmouth’s players and supporters celebrated in style after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Barnsley secured the League One title and returned the club to the second tier.
Portsmouth’s promotion ends a 12-year absence from the Championship and marks another significant step in their recovery from the turmoil that had sent them spiralling as low as League Two.
John Mousinho’s side struck two late goals to come from behind against Barnsley and spark remarkable scenes of celebration at Fratton Park, before the party later moved into Portsmouth itself.
