WILD COAST WINTER FISHING | Cracker & Shad

As we head out for an afternoon of fishing we find ourselves catching some great fish. Dylan lands a 75cm\20lbs mussel cracker early on in the session while Josh remains unlucky.
Around 4pm that afternoon we start fishing for shad using pilchards as bait as well as a spoon. Dylan goes on to catch up to 5 shad or so including the one he dropped.
Weather was great and was all in all a great day of fishing. please do enjoy the video.

Hi Ivan. We do keep fish sometimes but bigger specimens like this one are great for the breeding stocks so we let them go. Luckily we have been catching enough shad to eat and even share some with friends and family so it was an easy choice to release this lovely silver.
