Aww man, that missing leg really messes up the way a deers tail is supposed wag.

Thanks! I just discovered I have a Doe on my land missing the bottom portion of her front left leg. She looks healthy right now, just difficult moving through deeper snow. Water source is close by and plenty of food but I might buy a bag of deer feed just in case. She could be pregnant.

I bet she can still run like a deer

It appears that this one was born like that? I didnt see any scar tissue. And I would think that it would be quite infected had it be lost in a fight for survival?

Should have taken her man. Future is not looking to bright for her

That deer would never be able to have a fawn lol. That would be really hard on her to carry that much more weight.

Atleast it appears u did the right thing and let it be. It"s crazy how many meatballs out there would've tried to rescue and save it.

@@bigbuck2720 The man gave an opinion & suddenly he's this "snowflake?" That is not even the definition of a snowflake in the web world Bucky. Are you the wannabe Bully type? Grow up cowboy.

Im not too sure animal shelters take wild animals.. maybe a person could take the deer to their home and take care of it but i dont see a shelter taking a deer.
@useryggfdcc3 жыл бұрын
Best to just leave it alone. Maybe it will have a "long" life of not. Rather spend money on the homeless people then animals .
@tylerparker30243 жыл бұрын
The homeless people choose to be that way. They could get jobs and spend their money on homes if they want to. Thats a decision we all have to make.
