Hey everyone, it's Charlotte Dobre here, and today we're going to be talking about entitled people. You know the type - those individuals who think that the world owes them something, who demand special treatment and believe that rules don't apply to them.
In this video, we're going to delve into the psychology of entitled people, exploring why they act the way they do and what makes them think that they're above everyone else. We'll also be sharing some stories and examples of entitled behavior, both in real life and on social media.
From the entitled Karen who demands to speak to the manager over the slightest inconvenience, to the entitled influencer who thinks they deserve freebies just because of their follower count, we'll be taking a closer look at the various forms that entitlement can take.
But it's not all doom and gloom - we'll also be discussing ways to deal with entitled people, whether you're dealing with them in your personal life or in a customer service or work setting. We'll share some tips on how to set boundaries, stand up for yourself, and avoid getting caught up in their entitlement trap.
So, if you're ready to learn more about entitled people and how to deal with them, make sure to hit that subscribe button and tune in to this video. Let's get started!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

To help clarify for you Char bear with the woman on the plane. She was told several times while board that she could bring the dog but it MUST say in the carrier at all times while on the flight. She then sat down and immediately pulled the dog out to sit in her lap. She was warned again, but decided to argue with the airline attendant about it. Then the filming began because she was being removed for not following instructions clearly stated several times before hand. And if I an not mistake, she was banned from flying Southwest ever again.

A women tried to accuse my grandma of cratching her car in the parking lot. She parked, went shopping, WENT HOME and then the police showed up at her door. The woman wrote down the plate number and then called the police. Grandma got a lawyer and they made a color match test. Turns out: it was not my grandma. This lady was standing there the whole day waiting for someone to park next to her so she could charge someone money for something SHE did to her car when parking. Some people are crazy

A lady hit my Mama in the parking lot of a grocery store we frequent. She nearly ran me over before she hit our vehicle. We talked to the officer for like 15 minutes and he finally said he had all he needed so we grabbed a cart to go inside. He said neither of them would be listed at fault. When I looked back that lady had run over to talk to the officer some more (her car had already been hit a couple times) there wasn't really a mark on my Mama's car. When we got the official report the officer has put down my Mama was backing out of the spot at 25mph!! We were like wth so we had to call the police station about because it was straight up lies. It got straightened out but I was super pissed because I don't like people lying on her. That woman seemed to be a terrible driver and we think the officer was trying to cut her a break.

Something similar happened to my mom. She worked at a tavern. One of the regulars was leaving at the same time as my mom. My mom backed out and they hit each other. My mom had a nice truck, the woman’s truck was rusty. Now my mom is a Karen but this crazy woman out karened her. She threw fit and called the police claiming all the rust damage was from my mom. The police arrested the Karen for drunk driving and gave her the at fault ticket because she was drunk even though my mom did say she looked and didn’t see the woman was backing out. Well the police said she’d called before (medium size city) and she did the same thing and claimed someone else had hit her truck. They even noted on the report the damage was rusty and she claimed before it was someone else lol. I have to say my mom was lucky because she had a few drinks but she wasn’t smashed like Karen was and the police didn’t notice my mom because the fit the other threw 😂

A Karen story... I parked in a handicapped slot, put my medallion on my mirror and was confronted by Karen. She told me I didn't look handicapped, I need to cut my long hair, and I need to stop listening to demonic music. (It was She Talks to Angels by The black Crows) I ignored her, went inside the store and when I came out she was talking to the police. The cop checked my license, proof of insurance, and medallion number. When everything checked out he told Karen to mind her own business and walked back to me laughing. He said what really pissed her off was me calling her Karen when her name was Agnes.🤣

People are entitled. I've been confronted when using my cane. The person jogged over to where I was. Apparently I was too young to be using my cane. She demanded to know my "condition and told me I couldn't be in pain" i finally said I really hope things work out for you or whomever you're so on fire about. Have a lovely day. I think they were disappointed I wouldn't debate them. I was honestly exhausted. People of all ages, nationalities etc. have disabilities. FYI: if you get a ticket about broken taillights or whatever, if you have it repaired and bring the bill of repair to the court, often the judge will dismiss the original ticket. They gave me a piece of paper to the judge, certifying that it had been taken care of. I did have to pay a small fine, because I had been driving with it like that, but I appreciated being told that it was out, so it was worth it, and a new bulb wasn't that expensive to begin with.

We have a small satellite police station in our local Walmart, yep. They don't station cops at it except in an emergency, but maybe 5 yrs ago one of the cops was in his car tooling around the parking lot looking for tag violations, etc. Well I don't want to point fingers, but my plate registration sticker had been peeled off by a couple of years. My dad insisted on putting the new sticker on the pile of old ones even though I had pointed out the one peeling a few yrs underneath. The sticker was intact when I got to the store, but gone by the time the cop pulled me over, after we had gotten on the main road. 🙄 I didn't notice when I left Walmart that the sticker was missing. Why would I have checked, right? He gave me a ticket and since it was early in the year and Dad hadn't given me the new insurance card yet either. Yes, Dad owns it. But all I had to do was appear at city court a few days later with proof of registration and insurance and the judge dropped the charges. I was then pulled over three years ago, on my birthday, and a quarter mile from home. I was driving a whole 3.5 mi from my mom's house back home and the cop was pulling onto the main road and pulled me for a burnt out taillight. Thankfully, probably since it was almost midnight and the roads were dead, I was only given a warning citation and was let go. It really frustrated me at the time though. The officer was young, low rank, and probably fresh on the force, and I'm sure her older partner told her to pull me over for practice, and our city uses small infractions like that to find drunk drivers, which I clearly was not. Nothing happens here so the cops have to find ways to fill their time. Like burnt out taillights and speeding 1-2 mph over the speed limit. I've lived here over 30 yrs. Everybody (well mostly) who lives in the old part of the city knows better, because there's lots of people like us who have lived here 20+ yrs and know the crap they pull when they're bored or haven't written enough tickets that month.

I feel like the majority of the people either use the same lawn company to take care of their lawns, which they come on Tuesday and mow all those lawns in 1 day, or they all mow their lawn around the same time on Saturday. It's kinda funny. It's like this unspoken agreement between everyone. And its in the afternoon (like 2-5 pm), no one does it in the morning. There's a lovely humming that echoes around the neighborhood during lawn mowing times though. I find it very relaxing. LOL.

That company will send one worker to deliver an item like a fridge and it requires two workers sometimes depending on the home. This was especially chronic during Covid where NO furniture companies in our area would let their workers inside a clients home. They would put it on their front lawn or in their garage if they had one. So many times we were out on move and we would get a panic call to come help these people out. It didn’t matter if it was rain or snow they would leave the items outside to be ruined and would tell the customers “Not their issue”.

Along with the stalkery behavior (yikes), what's also awful about that poor KZbinr's situation is that the mom was filming, so if he had gotten a little annoyed and/or creeped out at someone finding where he lived and just showing up randomly for a picture -- which would have been his right -- she probably would have plastered her video all over the place, trying to get him cancelled, or saying he was totally rude to her kid and that no one should watch his stuff anymore, which would have been incredibly unfair. So he probably felt like he had no choice but to be as nice as possible in the moment.

Once when I was a broke college student, I got rear-ended pretty badly. Totaled my car and everything. I was understandably shaken and because I was literally shaking, I was having a hard time shifting through all the papers in the glove box to find proof of insurance. The cop decided to just ticket me for not having it even though literally a second later I found it. She refused to even look at it, finished writing the ticket and said it was too late. Did I refuse to take the ticket? No, I took it and I went before a judge to fight it. The judge asked me what happened and ten seconds later he was waving the ticket because he agreed it was super stupid that she couldn't wait a few more seconds for the person who was in shock and had whiplash to find a piece of paper. It's not hard to fight a ticket if that ticket is indeed stupid and pointless. Sure it eats up your time (I waited for over an hour for my turn just for my case to be over in under a minute) but the judges have so many small cases to do that they want to get people finished and out of the queue just as fast so yeah, they wont drag things out pointlessly. It's not worth fighting the cop over. They will make it worse.

He literally goes out looking for overgrown yards (which is a lot of work to fix) and they usually belong to people who really need help, and we're not able to take care of it on their own even though they want to. Or are in a bad place in their life. Good for him! Sad that he gets hassled by entitled neighbors. I'm taking back to when I worked night shift and someone would mow the lawn right outside my apartment window every week at noon on a night I had to work. I felt awful every time, but people got to take care of their properties.
