I just love the way how Mac goes and explore average-looking & even mundane places (at least from a local's perspective) in a city or region in the Philippines (just like that market) and make them look interesting and spring to life in his vlogs.

Although it was raining, there were still many places to visit in the local, which is also great! In fact, I like to go shopping with an umbrella in the rain, and sometimes I got unexpected surprises, maybe buying cheaper products! The atmosphere of rain in tropical countries is so different. I believe that as long as you plan well, you can still have a pleasant day! El Nido really deserves its reputation, the beaches there are really beautiful! Mac, the crazy weather is quite phenomenal., it’s effected anywhere, even here in OZ, been crazy, raining then humid hot. It should be towards autumn cooler right but still hot. Palawan is apparently clean/pure beaches. I’m appreciative how you promote the place you explore and add to the PH. It’s enjoyable to watch how you interact with the locals. As such, you gained more subscribers.

The Nike shoes are probably overruns or the ones that did not make the cut for Nike and made in Indonesia apparently there is a Nike factory there and they sell off the ones that did not pass quality control or were made but did not make the final cut for Nike to sell in their store.

You can buy insoles in any mall. I like dr Scholl's. Most soft foam runners shoes will look scrunched up after a little use, be it zoomx, freshfoam, fuel cell, or boost. But they are very soft and comfortable. If there's no rubber liner on the foam outsole then you can pretty much expect the foam outsoles to not last. This is true even in real high priced sneakers like new balance, nike, adidas and alike. 😊

Hi Mac! April and May are the best months to visit the islands and islets in the Philippines. Climate change is very real though, and the Philippines is one of the most affected countries. Please visit also the Coron. - climb the Mt. Tapyas - try the hot spring - See the wild animals in Calauit Safari - Try the package tour (Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Baracuda Lake etc.) - you must visit also the Lusong Gunboat and Lusong Garden (corals there are incredibly amazing) - Lastly, the Pass Island! It’s the best island for me so far!

You must climb the Mt. Tapyas at 4:00 PM to exactly see the sun set at the top. Don’t forget to check the grassland area at the back of the Cross at the top. It’s really amazing there!

350php should have been good for 24-hours rental especially if you will be renting the motorcycle for more than 1 day. If it's just a day rental (24 hours) they'll usually give it for 500 to 450 php depending on how well you negotiated with them. :) Nonetheless, hope you can comeback alongside with the boys and experience Philippines again without heavy rain.
