So this is very nostalgic for me since I sunk a lot of hours into this game as a kid, and the one thing I do remember is how incredibly hard it was to complete levels and progress the game. Space Mountain by far was the toughest stage from what I remember. Thks for the memories guys

This game is actually pretty fun once you get some practice in. I played it a lot growing up. There's a special ending if you die playing the Haunted Mansion stage but I forgot how to get it, but instead of Mickey you get a creepy (for the game, at least) ghost. You guys also should have played the Space Mountain stage in the bottom right of the map, it's pretty fun. Not too difficult, just pressing buttons at the right time. I was really happy to see you guys cover this game! :)

You're right; this is one of those games that's very short but very difficult. The game ends once you get the six keys, five of which you have to complete a stage for, and the last one you get after answering all of that obscure Disney trivia.

I remember this game. This was one of the first NES games I played when I was less than 6 years old. I remember my favorite was the spooky ghost level... I don't know why, but I do.

+Derek Eidahl It's the most complete of all the levels. Has a lot of difficult platforming and even an end-boss. The rest of them really are more like minigames, and the Pirates one is just a watered-down version of the Haunted Mansion without the ability to kill anything. Not a bad game, I should mention, but the ghost level is the only level that feels like you're playing a real video game.

Glad that you're a big Aladdin fan PBG, it's probably my favourite Disney movie(s) (I like all 3, but I guess 1 and 3 are my faves). For an Aladdin game (yes you guys should play an Aladdin game), I highly recommend "Disney's Aladdin" on SNES. Such a great and solid 2D platformer by Capcom, I still enjoy playing it.

I really liked Aladdin and the King of Thieves when I was younger. One of the better Disney sequels, though that's not really saying much. I'm not sure how much I'd like it nowadays, though. Haven't seen it in a long time.

"Plane crazy" was the first one: it was silent originally, incomplete, (later) badly dubbed, was released a few years after it was supposed to, and Mickey looked like something you would see on the cover of rat poison, so yea, it was pretty great

This was one of my first NES games, and one of the first I beat. The Haunted Mansion scared me the most, and it also has a hard (for then) boss at the end. I wish you guys had tried Space Mountain too... the crazy pace and "random pattern" would've made your reactions really entertaining.

Aw dang, these are probably some of the hardest trivia questions I've ever seen in a game. I mean, usually these questions actually relate to the game and you find the answers easily. But, how is a kid supposed to know this stuff?! No kid who grew up with this game would be able to answer half of these questions. X-Men Legends 2 had trivia too, but that at least related to the comics and you'd probably know a bunch of it if you were like me and just came off the cartoons an movies. Actually, I'm surprised by this game. I'm a huge Disney fan (my sister even worked at Disney world) and the layout of where the attractions are is pretty close to where they are in Disneyland! Like when the person said the key was at Space Mountain I was like, oh just go all they way to the right I bet.

The reason Steamboat Willie is everywhere is because it's the cartoon that skyrocketed Mickey And Walt Disney into fame. We had this game and played it as kids. You just have to get use to how each stage is laid out. It's pretty darn consistent. Except the train, that one can be tricky depending upon which station they want you to pull into (if you get 1 or 4 it's easier) and the spaceship one is just...ugh. You complain about the questions/wild goose chase but that's literally the EASIEST key out of the bunch to get.
