Cheers les, yes we took the pump along just incase we needed a few more pounds of air, was a great camp with lots of waterbourne and airbourne entertainment...atb..jeff.

Hey Jeff, I always pack the binos when we're off to Southsea, checking out the different vessels etc. Last year I swear I saw a wisp of campfire smoke from Priory Bay LOL, hopefully will be down there again this year :) Cheers.........Les

Spectacular video Jeff! (or should I say captain pug wash?) I saw the video when you first bought the kayak, good to see it in action!! Carmel and Leroy are zebra finches.. But since I destroyed the nest they are better described as love birds, the never hatching egg situation was making them miserable.. Anyway! Sorry to keep on Man!! But.. When I was a child I loved Lego, especially trains, forgot about Lego from later at school until well after leaving home ,, then I settled down a bit , and started craving a Lego train set! I've never had much money, the opportunity to relatively easily buy a Lego city train set arose in 2003, I talked myself out of it... That's a childish waste of money etcetera... If I'd have bought it for about £130 then , in good nick.. It would've been worth 4 to six hundred pounds now! Anyway! I just saved up and bought the Lego city cargo train set from Argos... And I tell you what!! I love it!! It's going to live in my glass fronted cabinet, I love the Engine! £107 pounds, quite a bit for me, but the majority of Southampton's homeless spend that a day on heroin, cigarettes and alcohol.. I was up till midnight building it! I've still got to build the station and track yet! I've had a model train theme going on lately, got a book by Ron Mc crindell on toy trains in Bognor today and a really nice toffe tin of the flying Scotsman yesterday , your model railway is awesome Jeff! I really like the tin plate trains from the 1920s , there's a great video on youtube somewhere (a blokes name - followed by 1920s tin plate layout) it's got lights and a monorail, a plane circling it and loads of trains! Id love to build a flea circus, automata and naive art museum on the isle of Wight, not as a dream of becoming rich from it, it would probably appeal to children mainly, the whole place would be a work of art! Take it easy chaps!!!

P.s Glenns pre war tin plate toy train layout! That could live in my Museum easy!! It's beautiful, one of your model railways would look nice in my museum,, and I don't know if you've seen one, but there are some spectacular model fair grounds around, I'd make it go dark to show off the lightning!!

Nice little adventure that Jeff, you must have been floating on air. I bet you felt a bit deflated when it ended though. I knew someone that lit a little fire in his to keep warm, but burned a whole in it and it sank, just goes to show, you can't have your kayak and heat it. 😒
