Yes, holding the button does last longer for the spins. The best damage is the horizontal spins cause it ramps up the damage the more hits you do.

Hi CB If you zoom in, hold x and move to the side, you'll spin around the monster nonstop doing a lot of hits and I mean a lot. Your down and x attack while zooming in does the most damage tho, but I feel the other one is better for breaking parts

I wanted to add, another variant of talisman, if you’re just hunting solo, you could pick up Claw Master in replacement of Resurrection Recovery. Claw Master allows you to get a full gauge at least 60-65% charge. You’re able to get a guaranteed talisman in the 4th area on the bottom of the map

Ive found its easy enough to get max gauge so claw boost takes up valublr slots not needed

Nice you learned the horizontal spin X move before you made the guide. Definitely the best move for CB you can do on a big surface area monster for massive chunks of damage.

The claw blade build I’m using right now is doing a solid 18k of damage not including crit and part removal buffs. It’s crazy

@@RichChigguh got you. I’m rocking the Blaze Claw: Basabasa. Inherent skills: aerial strike: bust and furry. Then my inherited skills are Aerial Combat 7%, destruction art 30% (2 of them), critical master 5%, critical boost: fury 4% and another aerial strike bust making that 30%. All damage/Critical talisman. Armor I got the kemono Garuda hat, kemono Garuda chest, kemono wayward arms, kemono dawn guard legs and kemono wayward boots. This absolutely tears apart body parts.

Hey FC, been following you since Nioh 1 dayz, Love your work. Just throwing this out there, I have this build and another build which ends on Basabasa Kemono build. Both Slaps, but as we do volatiles, breaking parts take longer on multiplayer, and when you do brake, even with 40% extenders, its kinda short. This has huge burst windows, but things gotta line up a bit. If your just beginning your aerial combo and get a brake, its fire, but otherwise you usually get a brake at the finisher, which means your using the burst window building up gauge. The sick part is the hunters arm, but you gotta make sure you have full gauge before you do it, which is what you should be doing anyway, but if you miss your claw on a weak spot, it hurts your burst. Just curious after playing this build if you feel the same, or I am missing something. Just want to say love your work again. Keep it up. Hope you will be playing Throne and Liberty, D4 and Blue Protocol this year.

A nice little trick for these weapons is a super jump and super glide on the ground with the weapon out roll and jump at the start of the roll animation for a super jump and same input for a superglide just pull out glider after you jump nice little movement tech the weapon has is it intentionally maybe maybe not but is fun

With the new weapons, what would you recommend going to? Nature's talon or, something else I cannot find an updated tree image anywhere so I still have to slay the volitial's to see the tree, great build to be fair, I don't have a deaf ears talisman yet though but I'm learning how to fight grim, before I take on soulstalker for the better drops I'd assume

If I understand this correctly, the crit attack is indicated by the damage numbers being yellow but when my one stroke critical procs I'm not getting them all the time. If it happens to be a tough spot on the monster I presume it won't happen yes?

Yellow numbers are weak spots where the monster is damaged most , crits I believe is a loud audio cue and a larger in your face damage number visually

from the way you sounded at the end there, do people actually have difficulty with the Amaterasu the first time they encounter it in the Town? that thing died for me in like 5 mins... it was Easy AF... only thing In this game that is giving me trouble is the Tempest

Isn't turbulence fury only the initial hit with the claw attaching that gets a damage boost? Its what I've been seeing on other videos. Solid build though

Turbulence: Fury boosts attack in general on a successful claw attack at maximum claw gauge level, you're probably thinking of claw boost: Fury while boosts the power of claw based attacks. Unless the skill details are not accurate but you can see Turbulence actually have an activation when the claw is planted.

Had a similar build but with verve. Only issue is with ps5 multiplayer, one stroke does not activate. Not sure if it’s a bug or single player only skill.

You only keep inheritable. Inherent means it's tied to that weapon.

Claw boost fury only helps boost the claw attack itself, not regular attacks. I wouldn't recommend.

The skills give you the crit chance. So when he breaks a monster part it gives him the crit chance, it doesn’t multiply the weapons inherit crit chance.

I'm assuming you know this, but if you don't mash light attack while dashing to the mosnter, but press it once, the spin attacks last a lot longer. Pressing light attack again finishes the move early. Is there a reason you're stopping the attack sooner? Is it more DPS?

Not sure what you're talking about but I only do one button press when attacking unless I'm pressing Y for the finisher

@@FightinCowboy You can stop the X attack with another X press. You did that a few times in the fight with Ameterasu, I thougt you did that purposefully a few times to maximize DPS or something. Maybe I'm just seeing things!

This game is Shyt! You get great armor top tier weapons they constantly die due to BS Mechanics the devs put in the game. I didn't pay my money to get BS exploits take me out.
