If you're familiar with Masashi Hamauzu, then yes, he was involved with the production of some of the game's music as well, and this song particularly sounds like his kind of flavor. The game in question is called Wild Hearts, btw.

The composer has composed for Final Fantasy titles before. I remember hearing music from this game and thinking it sounded similar to Dirge of Cerberus and FFX!
