The grimstalker is a punching bag after you beat the soul eater , it is a walk in a garden. Nice update fixed the lag and add new monster , I will recommend console gamer to buy and play!

Farmed volatile grimstalker for 4hrs, got 9 orbs. Game crashed, back to 0 orbs 😂😂😂

That makes little sense the game autosaves after every hunt so you should at least have 6 orbs before the crash

@@wolferyxproductions when farming volatile, since it’s random, the best way to do it is on the kill 2 kemono mission. After killing the grimstalker i immediately restart the quest to fight him again, no saving happens during that time.

Can't see if its been mentioned in comments but you are right with refined lumber acquisition. But its the 5th and final quest in the quest chain that'll reward you with enough lumber. I suspect many like myself picked up the quest and forgot about it. In the middle of the chain she asks for a bemoaning rock of some sort, it'll appear as a orange marker in the bottom left of the Autumn map but the catch is it has to be sunset/evening time so just sleep. Then pop over to location climb the wall and its the orange mining node. Rest of quest chain is very straightforward.

How is it on PS5? Update: I got it today (March 24). Graphics arent bad and I prioritize performance/framerate over resolution. Most PS5 games don't have high graphics unless they are story-based and lack adapting elements that makes open-world games fun. Like that I can "level-up" my islands permanently and make travelling easier and fun to loop. Much more fun than riding a palamute or wire dashing since I can be creative. Was worried about the Fortnite building and Kemono fights since watching the gameplay video. The building layout made me feel like it wouldn't feel well on controller because of when I played Smite (on my ps4/ps5 vs on my computer). However, it wasn't like Fortnite where it autopilot everything for you. You had diverse choices and methods. When I watched the gameplay intro it made it sound like each weapon class had a fixed building layouts (Example: Greatsword = jump pads, Katana = blocks, Ranged weapons = ziplines). The 2nd worry, the fights. When I watched a few of the gameplays I seen there looked to be little to no hints at when they would retaliate or do different attacks. I was corrected. They were notable hints at attacks (from the kemono I fought since Lavaback). Wild Hearts is it's own game and has unique weapons and monsters.

This game is Shyt! You get great armor top tier weapons then constantly die due to BS Mechanics the devs put in the game. I didn't pay my money to get BS exploits to take me out. U want me to use your Karakuri and utilize my heals so making it impossible to get these items isn't the way to Do it, save your money

The fact that you can get zero tmog/layer/cladding orbs for defeating a volatile monster is unacceptable. Combine that with the fact you can't target hunt a monster repeatedly except by trying to jump into other peoples hunts. Killed four volatiles and got zero orbs and went back to MH:R. Might try it again after more updates drop.

It has potential but unless it fixes some glaring issues it won't ever reach the level of Monster Hunter. The monsters are not as fun to fight and some of the mechanics barely work if at all in some encounters. It makes for a frustrating experience fighting anything.

I think WH is good as a run through and a bit of playing afterwards but the end game is very sparse and not engaging. The extremely volatile kemonos are a really good challenge but might be somewhat too big of a step from the previous content, especially for single player. The one life limitation might be the biggest setback, as it becomes much more tedious to even learn the fight if you have to restart the mission every time you fail. Also, the rewards tied to the end game are not enough to keep the general playerbase going. That being said, the game has a great foundation to work from and will hopefully be expanded on and iterated on.

I appear to be one of the few people who doesn't have issues with frames on this game on PC. It generally hits 90-105fps (according to MSI afterburner). I only get frame drops if I'm running another game/high requirement program and this game at the same time (which you really shouldn't, but I do that sometimes) I'm more annoyed by how fusion karakuri will mess up with uneven terrain, inane grind to get cosmetic armour, and how the camera angle in some areas are terrible and you literally can't see shit. Other than that its a pretty enjoyable game.

I did make a nvidia profile for this game specifically though, not sure if it'll help you but these were the changes I made: Antialiasing - transparency: 8x supersample Texture filtering- anisotropic sample optimization: On Texture filtering - Quality : High performance Texture filtering - trilinear optimization: On Threaded Optimization: Auto Triple Buffering: On Vertical Sync: Fast Virtual Reality per-rendered frames: 1 Can't guarantee it helps you, but it seemed to help for me. Also on another arreks video someone mentioned changing the sound settings ingame (I forgot what), I did that as well.

There needs to be actual end game content. I know there's the hunt for cladding, and the DVs, but the hunt for cladding is a bit too layered with RNG and laborious, that 1-2 claddings you're probably all set with that. The DVs themselves don't really have any rewards. Too many skills are not viable compared to the few that are used on the couple of armor sets and weapons everyone uses in end game, so it would be nice to see a great many unused skills buffed or changed. The new kemono are good - one every two weeks so far - but right now, due the the limitations in the end game, it doesn't feel as weighty an update as new things added to MH does. The April update ideally adds a way to modify armor with affixes, but I think I might be at the point that I need an expansion with a new zone and a half dozen truly new monsters to hunt, with at least as many new armors and weapons, to have as a playground for farming armor affixes and new things. I wanted to log on to farm the new wolf, but can't summon the motivation, as it is still also the old wolf, so I'll wait for the April update. That said, I love that they are following in MH's footsteps and planning to release two updates a month with some content. I hope this continues going out at least several months or a year, as there is a lot of good they could build on here, and I want this game to do well, and I want a sequel.
