Tom and Nova do things intentionally so maybe trolling music industry. Funny fact they rented robotic horses as Nova is extremely allergic to horse hair.

Maybe you need to focus on what Tom and Nova are famous for, setting a tone with the music that delivers a strong message coupled with the lyrics and facial expressions. The autotune is not the focus here. They are talking about why they are not married...that would eliminate their nature of being like wild horses. If they stay together, it is because they want to, not because of a marriage certificate.
