These videos are getting me pumped for the season. I've been scouting the property and there must be over 30 gobblers this year. I know how they got the nickname Thunderchicken. It sounds like thunder when all those boys gobble.

Once on a dark, rainy morning we set up under a bird on the roost. Sat there in the rain until it got light, only for it to be a buzzard. Felt like an idiot when it flew off lol

I was thinking for the last couple years that I'm the only one that lays prone on a field edge to get a shot on a field bird, but it looks like I'm not.

Dang bird would've had a hoarse next day as much gobbling as he did. Awesome hunt congrats

I had a tom break and finally come in after an hour of watching him strut and gobble by himself in a field on the side of a hill 150 yds away. He got to about the 60 yard mark and a hawk swooped down on him from the side and turned him almost 90 degrees and that's the only thing that saved that gobblers life that day.

My favored cut the ghost.

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking. Somehow I’ve never used a ghost cut 🤔 have to change that soon!

My 7 year old son and I saw 27 hens an two gobblers the last weekend of Georgia s deer season this year. One of the hens had a dang rope on it man. A rope I say! 8-10 inches. No doubt it was a hen with the grey head and neck. I could not believe it.
