@@killed_by_the_architect-829 Well, they did not have too many leading roles, did they? I am not an American and that may the reason I usually saw Native-american actors in very stereotypical roles of “bad or friendly Indians”. I only started seeing some good native actors in the past 20 years in much better roles but still not as the main lead.

To the people who are mad that the two white actors with minor parts are first billed....I get it....it feels bad. But their more famous names will draw in a larger audience. And hopefully bring more attention to these wonderful indigenous actors and actresses.

Maybe I didn’t scroll down far enough but I didn’t see any comments where people are mad about the white actors not having a large role in this movie. I think some people are just wondering why they are even in this movie or why they had a small part when the title of this video has their names as part of it.

Eisenberg would only say he's white when shaming white people and saying "as a white person we need to do better" Then he'll be like "ummm my name is EisenBERG I have a tiny hat, im not really white!" Then rub his hands together feverishly going " uuuurrrghllll Stop trying to hurrrrtttt meeeee!"

@@claunko “He looks like he isn’t acting” is the highest compliment you can give and what most actors aspire to. It feels kind of callow when someone cares about range more than verisimilitude. The fact is, being a version of yourself with complete and utter believable is incredibly difficult. Also, as a director, I’d much rather cast someone who was organically closer to the role than someone who was simply versatile.

Personally I would love to see a film set in a time before Europeans came to North America. Similar to Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. Just imagine the story lines. And all done with actual Native Americans and fully accurate in terms of dress, speach, location etc. Would be a smash I'm sure.

@faceoffkang I'm sure it could be done even if it was difficult. Your suggestion sounds good aswell but, I'm sure, it would be a hard watch. I'd rather try and celebrate the vibrancy and diverse nature of the different tribes/Nations across the North American continent. The geography of the US is so vast. It ranges from the forests of the Pacific North West to the deserts of the South West. The extreme winters of the North to the mild winters of Florida. I could go on. These massively different geographies must have made for such different cultures.

I do fear that this will be a running stereotype and I hope we begin to move away from having stereotypes as the base for character development.
