Wild Indonesia - Episode 3: Land of Dragons | Wildlife Documetary
Watch 'Wild Indonesia - Episode 1' here: • Wild Indonesia | Episo...
In this episode:
Central Indonesia is a wild, volcanic world. Trapped in the heart of the monsoon, rains have created a paradise and driven the evolution of rich and bountiful life. Cut off from east and west, it is an extraordinary island paradise home to a unique mix of creatures and a land where dragons rule.
The 17,000 islands that comprise the nation of Indonesia stretch more than 3,000 miles along the equator, bridging Asia and Australasia. Indonesia’s natural habitats vary widely. On some islands, tropical forests climb from steamy lowlands to mountain slopes. On others, parched savannah thrives. Coral reefs line thousands of tranquil atolls, while relentless waves batter rocky cliffs on other shores. In Papua, the mountains reach so high that permanent ice caps top their peaks, surrounded by barren alpine tundra. These wildly ranging habitats are home to an incredible number and diversity of living creatures - this iconic and landmark series is a celebration of Indonesia’s most spectacular locations and incredible wildlife.

The Wallace Line is an occult line like a natural cage formed in a magical way that stretches from the north of Indonesia through the Makassar Strait to the south of the Lombok Strait, separating the types of flora and fauna between Asia and Austronesia. This invisible line makes it impossible for fauna to migrate from the eastern region to the western region, and this is one of the reasons why Komodo dragons are only found on Komodo Island, and Komodo fossils have been found in Australia and Papua. an extraordinary phenomenon beyond human reason created by the Almighty
@NFC369

even bird species that live in the eastern region will not immigrate to the west, and cause clear differences in the types of flora and fauna between the eastern and western regions.

tahukah anda? indonesia mempunyai jenis hewan dan tumbuhan yang berbeda antara sisi barat dan timur. sisi barat indonesia mempunyai hewan liar harimau, macan, monyet, orang hutan di alam liar dengan ciri khas tumbuhan hutan hujan tropis yang lebat, sementara sisi timur indonesia mempunyai komodo, beruang bahkan jenis burung pun sangat berbeda dengan sisi barat, dengan jenis hutan di dominasi tanaman cengkih, pala, kayu manis bentang alam indonesia sangat kaya dari sisi barat sampai timur dari masyarakat, budaya, alam bahkan hewan dan tumbuhan. namun dalam tanda kutip besar, jika alam di indonesia mengamuk ini benar benar luar biasa! berskala global dampaknya. contoh seperti tsunami aceh yang berdampak sampai 14 negara, letusan gunung krakatau, letusan gunung tambora
