The turns are so crazy, sudden jolts that fling you from side to side and the weak seatbelt doesn't do anything, you fly out the seat at every dip. That's what makes it the best lol, its so intense. Dear EastCoasterGeneral, thanks for this upload. I loved riding this special little roller-coaster, those incredibly sharp 90 and 180 turns made possible by the small cart and narrow track made it so unique and fun to ride despite the rides relatively short height and track length in comparison to more modern steel coasters. There never was a more aptly named coaster, I miss it.

You can ride on all the computer programmed, imagine intensified rides anywhere in the world, you can be inverted 14 times, you can be shot out at speeds of up to 100mph you can be fired 100s of feet into the air, but the basic fact is...if you’ve never ridden the Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach then you’ll never understand the meaning of what it’s like to ride a real roller coaster... As a local (living just 1 mile from the PB) this is my all time favourite coaster. I've ridden the Big one 32 times... it's a great coaster, but the Wild Mouse is the only one that actually gives me a sense of fear. I've been on it a dozen or so times... yet there are still times I contemplate going on, only to back down cos i just have a "bad feeling" about going on it that day. I've been on some insane coasters round the world... but all of them have a sense of control. The Wild Mouse is just the most borderline coasters out there. I've been on that thing and had it flip sideways on two wheels while doing the 6th turn... genuinely thought the cart was gonna just roll... I've known plenty of people that come off it and can't comprehend how a coaster like that can be safe to operate. If you want someone elses experience the following is a great summation if you're not sure what to expect before getting in the queue for the wild mouse! Found on trip advisor - "Booking on line was very easy. Great customer service. HOWEVER....the whole day was ruined after going on the first ride of the day.....THE WILD MOUSE. I can't believe i queued up to be battered by a ride. I literally was thrown about in the cart. My head was thrashed back causing severe whiplash. Why is this ride still open???? Im in so much pain and cannot move as i write this reveiw. My sons birthday was spoilt. I will definetely not be returning to the park as i cannot trust the other rides as it still has the wild mouse still open....they should rename it 'the death trap'. Who certifies these rides??"

Danielle Dewitt I think he might be getting confused with some of the other rides as a few of the others are now listed which means they can't remove them or make major changes to them, The mouse isn't listed however due to the small space it takes up it's unlikely Pleasure Beach are going to want to remove it ,earlier this season they installed a new automatic brake on the final Break run making the right safer while still keeping what makes it fun they have also added another seat belt for when two people riding at once.

Doug Briglmen Doesn’t stop it beating riders up. In fact I read today that the HSE aren’t happy with this mouse due to how harshly it jolts riders around. Now I’m not one for calling a ride dangerous never have never will but I can see their point. Just look what it did to my ankle very bad bruising. It is harsh compared to the other woodies there. There is no need for it to jerk the way it does. Makes the other woodies look gentle.

I’ve been on rides all over the world but nothing comes remotely close to the Wild Mouse. I can’t describe how gutted I am that it’s gone☹️

I ended up having the mouse become my favourite coaster after riding it 3 times! The pain makes it fun in my opinion and when you end up being the only person on the coaster, hold on as I ended up flying out of my seat and landing back in on the other side! It's great fun!

Charlie Nicklin Getting a badly bruised ankle of the wild mouse that causes you to limp around the park is fun is it? Because I didn’t find it fun. Drops were ok but the corners beating me up, overreaction from the mouse lol.

I've only just found out it's gone. I was showing my daughter as it's my favourite ride at Blackpool, and was trying to convince her to go on it. Sad.
