there's only 3 and 2017 is a reboot that had nothing to do with this universe and story. in fact: universal was trying to use the mummy ip as a template for a dark universe with Frankenstein and other older ips but it failed, and the fourth one: The Mummy: Rise of the Aztecs, was cancelled due to negative reception from this movie. but yes 3rd one was weak bcuz the sudden change of the directors from Stephen Sommers (who written & directed the first two movies) to Rob Cohen that pretty much directed a fan film based on Stephen Sommers universe and work, with 3 or 4 writers and recasting rachel weisz for maria bello that had no chemistry with fraser and lack on screen presence like weisz and the change of her character which btw was one of the reasons why rachel weisz didn't reprise her role the other reason is that the script was bad and it shows in the results of final product.
