As someone who has been obsessed with the pre-Raphaelite movement since I was a young teen (and with multiple Waterhouse tattoos; Boreas, Soul of the Rose, Lady of Shalott) I am SO HERE FOR THIS 🙌 Edit: the look turned out amazing. The addition of Moth and Superstition was a great choice. Both before and after is beautiful.

I remember watching a British series about the preraffaellites and it made me dislike Dante Gabriel Rossetti in a visceral way lol, just because of the way he was portrayed, nothing historically accurate probably. But their works are remarkable, as you explained the not so evident darkness and feeling of uneasiness are something pretty unique and yes, hauntingly beautiful. Another look to copy when I'll be able to wear makeup again (healing from eye surgery😭), you always have the most original ideas and love it!

Oooooh, Proserpine! She's my absolute favourite! A few years ago, I got to go see a Rossetti exhibition in London featuring quite a few versions of her because the place I work has a wonderful Pre-Raphaelite collection and we loaned a few pieces by Elizabeth Siddal to the exhibition. She was incredible to see in person!

It seems a little random but I believe the Delaware Art Museum in the US has the largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite art outside of the UK. If for whatever reason you happen to find yourself anywhere near Delaware, it might be worth looking into 😂

They ship internationally from their website, and they have a good reward system through their website as well, so I'd recommend poking around there. They sell sample packs where you can choose the samples and you get a coupon with the sample pack to use on a future order within like 90 days or something.
