Wild Quail Hunting with Pointers | Oklahoma Public Land | TheWolf Outdoors

Met up with my dad to drive out 2 hrs west of Oklahoma City to the Black Kettle National Grassland with our german shorthair pointer and english pointer. Lots of wild flying birds, lots of points, and lots of action. Big thanks to the management of the ODWC the last few years and the rain. It really improved the bird numbers out here to rival "the good ole days."

Hello looks like a lot of fun i have been trying to get in to quail hunting but i dont know anyone that has dogs i have gone out and walk around and got 2 do you know someone that can take me out

Dudes My dog rides up front ! Setters do not ride in a crate! Especially Old Hemlock Setters! He watches the road for me or takes a nap on the back seat of my Mercedes SUV. My buddy not a servant😆👍🏻
