Now that explains the damage difference - I always Q Auto my second ability 😂 So I'v only started playing Orianna for a week now & wild rift 2 months & I always find myself searching for the ball. I decided I was going to pay attention in my previous match & only hit an ability when I see the ball & the damage it did was massive compare to when I was just chucking the ball around 🥰

what u think about electrocute for orianna? if a good orianna is able to hit her 3 skills combo and proc electrocute can be really good on lane phase, also I dont think that morello is a aways going for orianna, if enemies dont have heal, I pretty much like build into liandry, u can proc the double damage from the item, because of the slow that ur second ability provides, and if enemies are squish I like to have infinity orb on my build as well sometimes.

I reck a lot of orianas with Twisted Fate and Brand though, or it's just depends on player. To add up, for me, the main damage goes from oriana's 2nd skill. Should be maxing it first

I always get very motivated to play orianna after watching your videos and I do play her but in every match that I play her I feel like I'm doing good, I'm poking the enemies and playing it safe and everything but i am just not dealing enough damage. Even though I'm using the same exact build and even though I am hitting enemies with first ability too, I just don't deal enough damage. And after the game too I look at the damage dealt and I'm doing like 14-17 k damage only. I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Passive: 1) The ball is the focus of her abilities and 2) damaging an enemy with basic attacks consecutively deals increased magic damage. First ability: Throws ball and deals decreasing damage in its path everytime it hits enemies (max 50% reduction). The ball stays in the target area after. It can be picked up by passing through it, going far away from it, or using the third ability. Second ability: The ball unleashes an electric field that damages enemies and slows them. It also speeds up allies that pass through the field. You can use it to chase or escape. Third ability: Attaches the ball to an ally or recalls the ball back to you, dealing damage in its path (no damage reduction) and shields your ally or yourself. It also provides small resistances to the attached target (attached, not shielded; because the resistance is not dependent on the shield). Your main defensive ability. It can also be used as a set up for your ultimate. Ultimate: An AOE crowd control ability. The ball pulls the enemies in after a few seconds of delay and also deals damage. One of the best ultimates in the game, but it is very hard to hit actually. Better to use it as a follow-up CC (preferably after the second ability since they are slowed), not for initiation (unless you placed the ball perfectly or you have an ally that dashed into the middle of the enemies while the ball is attached to them via the third ability). Tristana and Veigar are counters to Orianna as laners. Seraphine could be too, cause she shove wave faster, have long range cc and survive ability. Anyway nice vid, i agree with most of things except barrier. I hate this useless summoner's spell, exhaust is way much better if you dont need ignite or ghost.

Exhaust scales a lot better with time and its good even in early game. It got nice buff and its op versus fed enemy, who has burst damage. Barrier was nerfed 3months ago, its basically worse heal for 1v1 mode.
