As a support main,I find it very frustrating at times,the matchmaking makes it almost impossible in certain games to make any difference. When 2 out of 5 players are basically going 0-10 with champs they barely ever tried in a ranked,you can just try and win by luck (cause in solo or duo you cannot coordinate much).

Tell me about it. Back in my days as Iron - Silver, i just spammed Braum and we did fantastic. But when it reaches gold 1 to plat that's when the shit hit the fan. They dont know about low defense line and minion management, they dont ward so they kept geting early ganks, big egos at draft pick, and they blamed ME, the support who roams around babysitting their asses.

Happened in a game of Vanquisher elo. I asked a guy who was inting after losing first drake "is one drake = lose?" He deadass said "yes and f*ck your dead mom". Then he proceeded to clear my camps and went afk. Of course he didn't get punished at all.

I've been playing more normal pvp last season, and I find the quality of games better there. I noticed it's less trolls/afks/toxicity. In ranked it's a clown fiesta (big egos, trash talking in preselect, alot of pointless chasing, low health but throw themselves to enemy, neglecting the crashing minion waves at the turrets). Oh and for some reason in ranked the duo lane, they keep dying every 30 seconds.

The damage that everyone of you team really matter, I only play support items in some sense if my adc can have healthy CS, then I know he is good to play around. But most of the times support items sucks hard against mage items unfortunately expect for sicke and relic shield and mandate.

It's interesting finding this video, been playing WR for about 5 months and got as high as plat and it felt weirdly easily but though it was just me. Then I go back to play league and find out you get up to two free wins for promos, it seems like the "appeal to masses" for competitive games is spreading like wild fire and its a symptom of competitive games going hard main stream. Almost every competitive scene that I've been in or participated in has done the same thing (pokemon, fighting games, shooting games), sadly the days of sweaty competitive scenes are a relic of the past and slowly going away.

They also try to make you be promoted after a number of matches so it would be difficult for Smurfs to easily get rank 1, 2, 3 cause they would have to spend so much time in each account. NA Wild Rift and PC player here. I'm bronze in PC and Gold/Plat in WR... I can tell you from personal experience that they don't feel too different. I don't mind an ELO reset.

Season 1 and 2 was the most sweaty season. I remember being hopeless in Emerald, but I still managed to get to Masters since Diamond was a breeze. I stopped playing the game til I decayed back to Emerald, and holy shit. The current Emerald players felt like playing with/against Gold players back in beta and the first two seasons. It's not even funny that I'd go 10/0 on 3 consecutive games, and still lose without being queued up in a higher elo.

Well players on the line like to blame junglers even though they are the ones who play badly. In many cases junglers are not helped to take objectives and in other cases line players are eager to kill.I as a jungler felt it, even if I managed to steal the dragon or the Baron would definitely lose if my team only cared about killing opponents instead of pushing.Crazy start to the season😓

riot lowered the competitiveness of normal ranked because they wanted to create legendary ranked which is something original to LoL mobile in the last season players kept complaining about how some players kept abusing 5 q and trio q to rank up and players felt that they have to play in party to rank up in legendary ranked you have to play solo q and you have to play the role that you master

I was top 1k players last season playing sion supp 65% win rate. It is just getting worse and worse. I tried to talk about this on WildRift reddit, all my posts were denied. You can't have people with 48/49% win rate get to master grandmaster, just because they've 800 games.

The sad part is My group started Playing WR but Im the only one who stayed. Everyone went back to ML. i still play both though. But most of the time, I play ML because of he quick pacing. Action starts at level 4 for for assassins. And the game is finished within 15 minutes (high rank)

2023 now.both normal and rank really sucks...i can tell whos who...Teamates who will do good in middle game so i dont throw that game and keep pushing until getting that Win... play all roles...the biggest downfall is the bot lane and the jungler....if both falls...its alrealy a lossing state....playing mid and going to bot lane helps team alot...if jungler too busy....and that game mentality is mosly missing to wildrift player...they just want to hunt and kill...they just want to be lucky in a clash...no one wants to punish a overpush enemy player...and defend the tower...if i can't sense it to my teammates....definitely im throwing the game...thats the wildrift state right now...to teamwork...and composition in champion picking....Thats worst than mobile legends...i mean mobile legends end game is much good than wildrift.. .in ML you can fight if your feed up just farm the lane...in wildrift youll just have to give up.....

This is my first moba and I'm noob, but I've got into master. I can see the skill gap, I shouldn't be there. On top of that I can see the players who are worse than me and are in master. It's absolutely crazy. It gets even worse because match making puts diamond 4 players in the game. If one team gets a particularly bad D4 player it's a predetermined outcome. Not satisfying to play at all.

things that need to be rework on ranked: 1: fuck duo/trio abusers, soloQ is the only true way of getting better at league/WR and climbing ranks. if u wanna party, make a new 5-man ranked by reworking existing guild system 2: fuck mark-based tally system, as it doesnt rewarding better players for winning the game and implement LP to all tier, also making LP requirement goes higher on higher tier 3: fuck BM players, as they ruining ranked players' experience 4: fuck smurfers, as it ruining new players experience 5: fuck account traders, selling/buying high elo account doesnt make ur skill as same as them 6: fuck boosted players, tier promotion need to be back since boosters having fun making moneys

I'm diamond 2 and one time playing duo with my friend that is an Emerald 3 I caught Platinum players. It doesn't make sense at all. If I can't queue with platinum in premade party why does the game let platinum play with diamonds?????? Another thing that frustrates me a lot are lots of diamonds that play like gold: don't ward river, objectives, don't gather (the basic mechanics)... It's awful especially when people are playing full SoloQ. I'd like another elo either between Platinum and Emerald or between Emerald and Diamond to separate better the good players from the awful players. Another thing I'd like to happen more during ranks is the recreation. It doesn't make sense if recreation doesn't happen in all matches when someone is visibly afk. Having it and not having happens to be the same once that doesn't work well. I'd like also that ranked games allowed only solo queue players or make the legendary ranks (like flex in lol pc) starting in emerald due the premade teams that sabotage lots of soloq. I think that the elos are unbalanced due to premade groups. A player can simply carry rhe other noobs, it's like elo job without paying.

In my opinion, Riot "Games" doesn't know how to make proper games, and with logical rules for its community. Wild Rift is a very good example for being such a huge disappointment. Not referring to its gameplay, but more to its matchmaking system and also the penalties or notices. Riot doesn't know how to make matchmaking systems. It's very obvious. Either they have bad programmers or they are lazy to do the job right. Many of the matches, no matter what mode you choose to play on, they are incredibly broken, unbalanced, etc. Also, the penalties or notices... man, this is so annoying, irritating and also tiring. Why do I have to get banned because I decided to help the enemies to end the match faster just because my team was full of noobs and wouldn't even surrender? Why noobs should play this game on first place? Yes, the game is free, but just because it's free, doesn't necessarily mean that it's for everyone, and this is where Riot loses the road. And by banning a lot of players that some of them have decided to invest on Riot's skins which are relatively expensive, that's even worse, because this way Riot substantially steals money. Then Riot forces you in its own way that if you want your skins back, you have to pay for them again by creating a new account and start over. Well, this doesn't make any sense at all. Riot is from the worst videogame companies I've ever seen.

As long as Masters isn't hard gated (i.e. only fixed numbers of players can be Masters) then it's possible for everyone in the playerbase to get to it. Nothing wrong with that. The problem in this game is not the ranking, I personally think it's the auto fill system. I play as fill 100% of the time, and in 19/20 games I get JG role. What this says is very few people plays JG, which is arguably the most important role in the game. I can also say that when I got better in JG role, my winrate improved a lot, and this is mostly because the enemy JG doesn't know what he's doing.

Tft has a mechanic where after 2 sets (2 season 6 months) every person's rank resets completely (not mmr) and you play 5 placement matches and highest you can get is gold 4/gold 1, depends on the players previous rank and the matches won in the placements, and after 1 set, second set soft resets and you drop to d4 if you're challenger gm or master.

This. I agree with all of this. I am jungle main, used to be a vi one trick reaching emerald. Upon reaching top 100 with her and diamond I dropped her completely in order to learn new lanes and champs so that I can improve my gameplay as a jungler by understanding other lanes. Then returned to jungle with new champs increasing my champion pool and this year I reached master stomping my way through the ranks.... But I don't feel like I achieved something. I didn't feel like it's a higher rank it feels like I am playing on diamond all over again and in turn it makes me doubt my skills. Did I reach there because I tried and improved or was I just pushed into there because below average players are there too because of the system. In all honestly I don't feel like I am worthy of thus rank at all

Before, it took me so hard just to climb to diamond 4, took a break, then last season, i was surprised i climbed from plat to master 32 in like 1 and a half months? It was crazy quick honestly. I dont think im that good LMAO!🤣 The struggle inside the plat-diamond was lowkey nonexistent. I think getting matched with diamonds in masters is good. Gives a bit of a challenge for both parties. If the diamond player is worthy to play with masters and the master having the patience and skill to help carry the team. Yes it was chaotic but it had lots of challenges. I also agree that lots of people in masters really dont know even the basics, some are not even flexible in their roles, dont know prioritization and have the lowest patience. So easy to give up, troll, or lose their shit. I hope they can fix it soon. NGL, i dont deserve to remain on masters, i feel like i shouldve dropped back to dia on my last grind last season but i just remained in masters all the way. TBH it felt like i was just playing pvp. I sometimes dont even take the game seriously at some point. Its just all over the place. I hope they have a solution to it soon

we do the blitzcrank troll game as well, to point out that the reporting system and permaban system is nonexistent nor working. we will not stop trolling (responsibly) until riot implement a better reporting system. our strategy: a 5 man will rank up 5 games, then we will individually queue (seperately) and ruin games 5x for others. so 5 x 5 = 25 games to ruin and then we will group up and rank up 5 games again ( rinse and repeat).

Skill is (supposedly) measured by MMR, and rank (to enable progression) doesn’t reflect skill-intentionally. And discussion about addressing inflation and skill gaps must deal with MMR. MMR differences in lobbies also explain why it’s possible for a more skilled player to have a bad winrate, and still be more skilled. The video has a lot of good points, but it missed on this issue.

Thank god someone addressed this issue I once saw my adc tristana jump into a blitz hook in grandmaster rank and a lee sin who doesn't know how to use his ultimate at higher rank and always kicks the target away from the team. at diamond rank people think the normal elemental drake is more important than baron or the towers.

When a player can’t climb rank without fortitude , they will quit. Every player that quit are going on to be a major issue for riot. They need to balance competitiveness , fairness and also ability to survive or make a profit.

Totally agree, wildrift don't have fair matchmaking system they only care about earning money from average players who can buy their skins. Climbing the ladder is easier for those lucky players who are queued against weaker opponents making it a one sided game. These totally need to be resolved before the game goes beyond the worst.

For example, if a baron laner is going to use an adc on the lane, the game should not make the role adc, support, jungle, and mid available to that baronlaner and riot must be flexible on the champs available for the player to choose on the lane.

That one problem in ranked is Platinum ranks also called as *Elo Hell* which is so freaking hard to get over. And the games in platinum ranks are too confusing...it's like Having a Smurf enemy And a bad teammate. And the other way around- Having a good teammate (Probably a Smurf) And very BAD enemy Like I said, the games in platinum elo is way too confusing and it's TOO UNFAIR for everyone. I mean u can't enjoy a good game with SMURFS or just good at high ceiling champ that CAN 1v9

One BIG ISSUE THEY NEED TO FIX ASAP! If it ever happens to you, one of your teammate will disconnect and then recon and then disconnect again in the entirety of the game . and you cant even do a thing to remake the game its like a free lose how is it fair. This also happened to tyler1. And they will give you some protection points like 150+-300 players feel like its a way of bargaining of the problem which is not enough, 4v5 in a game in high elo is a sure lose riot should fix this.

I personally got better at the game. I have never played league on PC and when i started playing Wild Rift you can imagine how skilled i was and how i understood the game. In season 5 i started to look at the patch notes and upcoming updates to the game. I'm still doing it now. So i started to use new metas and learn more and more about the game also darkbreaker helped a lot

I've reach challenger in both pc and wildrift and yes i do agree with what you said. The players quality in wildrift compared to summoner rift is a huge dif. In summoner rift player are force to not just mastering your champ but also mastering the mechanic itself. I can clearly remember i was busting my ass trying to mastering baron role back then. What happen on top stay on top jg dont come yeah that's not a joke. 😂 Compared to wild rift, it's either you get trolled or you get crybaby. "I can't jg riot autorolled me" yes that's because the role you wanted got filled by players that are better than you so get your grip together! Have you heard mundo or jarvan or vi at the very least. They are the most easiest jg to be play so play them! No need to go wannabe faker or showmaker just take a babystep.

You forgot to mention another thing that has been rampant lately.. the massive amount of wintraders and boosters. While wintraders were present in previous seasons, mostly in challengers, 5mans trading with each other, now they're basically everywhere. And the boosters.. just today I've had a 0-11-2 Kayle on my team.. in a game that ended in 8 minutes. 65% winrate master, with 0.8kda and 12% teamfight participation... Game is truly going to shit sadly...

Normal ranked is dead. I exclusively played legendary queue as soon as I reached diamond last season and climbed to guardian 1. Now I‘ve been reset to platinum 2 due to the weird new reset rules. All I want is play legendary ranked again but platinum is literally bronze and I don‘t see myself getting back to diamond 4 any time soon…

I had a 49.7% wr (about ranked 400 games) in season six (I have made to gm each season since season 4) and made it to 30lp gm. My wr is less than 50% but I’m the best performing player on my team 2/3 games. More often I dealt twice the damage of my adc than my adc having dealt more damage than me. I play jungle, evelynn main + a little bit of olaf, morgana and shyvana. I started legendary ranked just a couple weeks ago and have 70% wr after 80 games. I finished in Vanquisher I. Up until vanquisher the games felt really easy and I stomped almost every game, even though many opponents where master, gm or challenger but played like they just bought the account a week ago. Yes, sometimes I have bad games but that happens maybe once every 10 games. 7/10 I stomp the enemy jungler into the ground, 2/10 its even and one time I get stomped, but still less than 50% wr in ranked.

I agree with the "special" treatment of high spending players, I've met a lot of players at emerald with lots of skins but has poor skills, its not fun to play the game anymore, be it rank or pvp. At one time, when I bought the Dawnbringer Riven, it felt like the system was in my favor, been winning lots of rank games straight, and after a few weeks, It went back to having toxic teammates. And one more thing, that ridiculous ping spike in rank sucks, start having a good connection at the lobby, then all of a sudden 999ms in game. Riot needs to fix these problems

Honestly I stopped playing ranked because of having at least 1 inting teammate every game. If I had to put it in percentages I think 10% of my games I get carried, 30% of my games I carry and win, 50% of my games I get inted (myself not having a bad score or being mvp), then losing 10% of my games by myself. It gets annoying trying to play as best as you can then get rewarded with an inting player in my team.

Jungle role isn’t the most appreciated role in the game because of the heavy responsibility of playing this role. Imagine receiving all the hate because of a missed objective, gank, etc. Not many players are keen to learn the role cuz….it receives the most toxicity. The worst part is the matchmaking in solo rank where I had 11 games where people say “I don’t play jungle” and we lose because well he/she can’t play jungle in HIGH ELO

I was Season 4 GM and it used to be prestigious and you are considered somewhat pro, now even a noob can hit master/gm being carried by 1 guy. I quit the game for 3 months now and life has been better for me. I dont know how, but riot has to do something about this "inflation" cuz now being gm/master is not as prestigious as it was once before and im sick of troll players

Exactly why I don't go for above diamond since s4. Early seasons even diamond was hard since you could be matched with very skilled players that are on leaderboards now. After s4 the amount of toxicity and trolling isn't just worth the nerves for higher title. Now I just play for few days to hit diamond and uninstall. Haven't had above 100 games per season since s4.
