This film about the Rhine is unique because of its focus on the Fauna and Flora that exists alongside the stream. Beavers and Seals, Capricorns and Lizards, Wild boar and White-throated dipper are among the animal stars of this film. Even though man has settled next to the river and the stream has been used as means of transportation for thousands of years, its banks still host a stunning variety of wildlife habitats. Alluvial forests, roaring waterfalls, steep canyons and sunny slopes flank the river along its some 1230km. The variety of habitats is the reason for the large biodiversity along the stream. The film follows the winding path upstream Starting at its delta in the Netherlands it runs through six countries until its place of origin in the Swiss Alps. Rhine river is located in Europe. It is a majore transport route in this continent. There is a diversity of wild life that thrives in this river. Amazing documentary. This type of documentary is a must watch for me.

Birds have got to be the silliest animals alive, thank God for KZbin and nature videos, or I'd have never known. My favorite is the horned chicken or whatever, he has two feathers that he pushes up and they look like bunny ears to me, but after they mate, the female beats feet and the male just does this cute foot dance, not even realizing she's done long gone, lol!
@sbussea26913 жыл бұрын
That's so true, birds are silly and get into all sorts of mischief. My two favourite bird rascals are the black crows and ravens. Seen them on a nature doccie and absolutely fell in love with their funny antics.
