The Wild being forced into playing some of the prospects could be a positive down the road. Getting a look at Guance, Lambos, Jiricek, Ohgren, (the last two will get shots) should help come March. Lambos was playing well in Iowa and earned the call up. A shake up could be in play as Hartman has disappeared, 89, etc. If you want to stay, put up some points - my heavens. Johansson another player who could use a jolt, maybe a healthy scratch etc. Still a gritty bunch and hoping for 46’s health as he’s had some real tough sledding the last 18 months. 🙏🏻

@ he skates the the wind - that’s why he’s so good in international play - big ice, less physicality. As for Seth’s question, my players are Buium and Ohgren who is lighting it up with a wicked shot in Iowa.

Its not a line mate issue its a boldy issue. Kirill dbl shifts with bot 6 guys and still impacts, still gets assists, goals. Boldy doesnt have the will the (it) factor in him all the time.

If you watch Rossi, you can see he gets every year better. Last year he worked on his strenght, he was 3rd at the strenght test at the minnesota camp.rhis year he worked on his shot and faceoffs. I guess next year he will work on his 1 on 1 more often. He is the Player every coach dreams of. He is usually also the first on the ice. Talent and passion for the game makes him better every year.

Absolutely right! It's that extra stride in chasing a loose puck. The stop/start instead of a power circle on a chase the getting elbows near the paint that is taking Marco to the "Right Spot" at the right time. The example to the team! Undmfortynately, it has not been infectious to tge passengers who continue to go through the motions and do just enough to not be on the hot seat!

@johnrobinson1824 When Rossi sees pucks coming toward the net front it is a quick decision, up off the ice for deflection or on the ice for rebound. Johansson wouldn't get his pretty face in the way of any net front! Yes he only has two hands on the twig when he's pretending to play power forward, looping around tge net...until he chokes and loses the damned puck!

Scoring will need to be done by committee while Kirill is out. The Wild have no other elite "game-changer" forwards and, besides Rossi and Boldy, they have no secondary scoring as well......I dont really understand why Gus would play against Preds and Fluery gets the start against the Caps. To me, you flip-flop that because Ovechkin......

Both Rossi and Ek are not extremely talented “franchise” centres but they work very hard on the ice in all zones. Rossi is getting the point production that comes with a little bit of finesse sprinkled into the high effort grinding game.

I Think Marat, looks fantastic, he is not scoring regularly but he is a beast on the FORECHECK!!! and incredible nuisance to attacking offenses... creating pressure, turnovers and instigating the offence!! What do you think? Am I just wishfully looking for positives?

Fast skater , but his stick is so damn short he can’t shoot w any velocity. Idk doesn’t seem to have offensive nose for the net IMO. But his wings are very ineffective offensively speaking.

Honestly, with Kirill out indefinitely, you CANT healthy scratch Boldy unless you're waiving the white flag on the season. The Wild only have 3 goal scorers in double digits thru 38 games and one is out. The smart play is letting Boldy play thru it.
