Nice video Ron and nice comparison of the Wild West games. I agree, you (we) should talk to Phalanx about doing some possible upgrades for some of the models if it is worth the effort.

Last week he said he does make shingles, I haven’t checked to see if they are listed on the webpage or not.

Just picked up the rules for What a Cowboy by Too Fat Lardies, and this is exactly what I was looking for to get a run down on terrain. Thank you!

Warcradle Studios has a line for their Wild West Exodus game that are beautiful. They arent pre painted, but are pre primed. And they are wonderful, very detailed kits.

Nice review, I just picked up the Black Site Studios Western terrain and will be putting it together soon. I have placed an order for La Villa fdm set from Crescent Root for South of the border/pirate gaming buildings. Both of those companies are domestic here in USA, Black Site is in Texas, and Crescent Root is in Arizona.

Black Site wasn’t doing Western buildings at the time of that review, in fact they are brand spanking new! They are great guys and I love their business model. I do like Crescent Root as well, though I don’t own any. I wish I’d bought the brick factory kit they used to do. My friend has their old resin middle Eastern stuff which was great

Ron I have £250 worth of Serissa buildings in a box. I bought them after a dubious friend stole much of a Western town. A tremendous betrayal of friendship but he was an odd fellow. Unfortunately my woman, I apologise for any suggestion of the possessive, left me shortly after I bought them obviously in kit form. I was rather relying on her to put them together. I look in the box from time to time and dream of Western Towns yet unbuilt and Manifest Destiny forestalled. You still remind me of Hunter S Thompson and I thoroughly enjoy your work. Wish I could say the same about Hunter. Always a pleasure Ron. With best wishes, Ian. May you always remain unexpected Internet chum. Take care.

You might just have to build them yourself!

Can I ask where you got the play mat. I have looked all over. I found a vinyl one but yours appears to be out of mousepad like material which would be awesome.

That mat is Tiny Wars and is fabric.

Mdf is medium density fibreboard, it is type of engineered and man made wood used frequently in the war gaming world for structures.

Nice review! Have you tried anything from Plast craft? Their kits are PVC. Haven't bought any myself but I'm always tempted when I see them in the store.
@CryHavocWarGaming3 жыл бұрын
I have not, though a friend has some lovely WWII models by them. I think they may be closed now, so if there are some in a local store you might want to get them before they are gone.
@jaytee632363 жыл бұрын
@@CryHavocWarGaming I probably should! I've also been looking at some similar Customeeple buildings.

@@CryHavocWarGaming and I just realized I misspelled the name. It was Plast Craft not Plasticraft. They seem to be still in business. Neat buildings although it doesn't look like they have interiors.
@CryHavocWarGaming3 жыл бұрын
@@jaytee63236 That is the company I thought you meant, I also agree that they appear to be in business still. (Someone at my club implied that they were not). Not familiar with Customeeple. Interiors are always needed. They are useful when you play games where you are really concerned with individual figures, less so in a platoon-based game for instance.
@jaytee632363 жыл бұрын
@@CryHavocWarGaming I agree entirely about interiors. Absolutely necessary for most skirmish games.

WHAT TRAIN SCALE IS CLOSE TO 25MM - 28MM AND 1/35 SCALE ?
@CryHavocWarGaming2 жыл бұрын
true 25mm should be s scale, but often o scale will work just fine. 1/35 should be G scale
