Some great racing with ASMA. Started back of the amateur grid both races. Won the amateur classes, and pushed through some experts too. Next Race is Arroyo Seco New Mexico! Thanks to all the ASMA staff, Roger, and all the riders.

AYEE seems like maybe the cones in the first race were spaced incorrectly, not a missing cone. my bad!

I love watching your videos, they always make me want to go rip on my r6, then I realize I am not that fast or skilled, so I just wait on the next upload lol! Great riding as always! Stay safe out there!

Dude, awesome results! When you said "I think I can get him on the brakes into turn 1" I was grinning from ear to ear! Great stuff!!! Also, have you seen Naska's videos? He adds his position and lap overlay so you know where you're at. If it's easy enough to overlay, I think it would only add to your video quality

Yes I love Alberto Naska's stuff I wish he still raced motorcycles! I want to do a position and a lap overlay but I haven't found one that I like that's not a pain in the ass LOL but I will!

Great to see you back! "worst condition" haha, when Reno Fernley raceway was open I watched people ride one lap and leave. Dude, a little driving and you've got all the so-cal tracks or a little farther and you've got Laguna, Sonoma and my personal favorite Thunder Hill. They all range from 3.5 to 5 hours away from me but well worth the trip.

Very true I can't wait to get out to the California tracks! And I haven't had a lot of experience on tracks out here I'm really just basing my opinion off of everybody talking in the pits! And all the great tracks that I raced back east, I feel spoiled now!

Thanks man, I know when I'm trying to learn a track I watch a lot of onboard footage from other riders. And I always wish I had more context to what I was watching!

Love your line through the 2nd to last turn, way to line up the straight as well, one piece of advice I got from a Moto A rider would be to drop her to second coming out of turn 1 as that’s the second longest “straight” of the track. It’s a really equal playing field at this track as most everyone here it’s only their second time racing west, Roger brought racing back to AZ last year at west so most of our first time riding this track was last year. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to race this round due to surgery/bike problems but solid solid lines my suggestion should be taken with a grain of salt as the track has deteriorated a little since last year too

Awesome man thank you. Yeah that gear indicator isn't right either. I was running very close to stock gearing for almost every track I raced with ccs back east. (All my old videos on this channel) so I had to make a pretty drastic gear change for this size of a track. And I did not have my gear indicator relearn the gears so it is off to be honest I'm not 100% sure if I was even consistent on my shift points as this was my first time here. But I appreciate the help brother. Always learning! You going to Arroyo??

Awesome job man! After the trackday the day prior I was hoping to be able to battle with you that Sunday. I highsided trying to setup a pass at turn 11 the first race of the day unfortunately. You going to be out at arroyo for round 2?
@FergFactoryRacing2 жыл бұрын
Of course! Ill be there brother!

Whats your comfort level for passing on the brakes? How close do you usually get in order to be confident in the pass?
@FergFactoryRacing Жыл бұрын
I usually start looking for a way around someone when I'm a bike length or two away. But actually going for the pass totally depends on the speed of the guy I'm passing (like is he faster than me usually), and the corner I'm planning on executing the pass on. But overall, passing on the brakes is not too bad as long as you get the pass done while the bikes are upright. Once you tip in, that's risky.. 👍
