Didn't think I watched many westerns until I sat watching and muttering to myself. Once upon a time in the West - Young Guns - Quick and the Dead - Tombstone - Open Range - For a Few Dollars More - Fistful of Dollars - Good the Bad and the Ugly - True Grit. Guess I watch more than I thought.

When the Colt SAA first appeared in the west, the frontier had been conquered long ago ! It's more guns like shotguns, pepperboxes, Colt Pocket models and other percussion pistols that did the work. Beside, the Colt SAA was initially chambered for the .45 caliber Colt round and not the .44 S&W !

Argomento molto interessante, per gli appassionati della storia del "west, delle sue armi e dei suoi uomini. Peccato però, che nell'esposizione, sia fotografica che descrittiva, ci sia molta confusione e disordine. Ho ugualmente, con curiosità, guardato il video, ma di certo si poteva fare molto, ma molto di più e meglio. La mia rimane pur sempre, una critica personale e opinabile, ma che potrebbe essere uno stimolo, a chi si occupa di queste tematiche, a fare sempre meglio. Cordiali saluti

Dislike for lazy editing. You repeatedly show the wrong firearem (Colt double-actions and Colt cap & ball) when talking specifically about the SAA. With the literally millions of feet of film available showing the SAA, showing another in its place is just lazy, and a disservice to those trying to learn.

Same here. I’ve noticed the same in other videos. Makes me wonder what’s really going on with this channel. I like the topics but the presentation leaves me disappointed.
