A timely vid Scott. I have a few specks on my Z9 sensor. Got the kit and having watched you I'll now get the job done . Got slightly side tracked watching your left elbow so close to those vertical lens and so close to the edge of the table ...lol I'm so lucky to have the 180 - 600..what a fine lens, what a bargain. Great vid Scott. Thank you . Ted

Recently retired and will be doing wildlife/landscape photography. I have Z7ii and 14-30, 24-120, 100-400 and 105 macro all Z mounts. On a waiting list for the 180-600 at my local camera shop. My question is if you need more reach is it better to shoot in crop mode or crop in post? I'm thinking about getting a Z8 for the better AF

The Z8 is a beast. You won't be disappointed. So shoot crop or crop in post? Both will have the exact same impact on the photo. If you need to 'see' the subject better in the field when taking the picture, then shoot in dx mode (crop). If not, then. shoot in fx (full frame) and crop in post. Why? If you d it in post you have more flexibility in your composition with the crop. Thanks for watching.
