I liked to think you were the first guys in many years to make a brew in the cabin Joss. I suspect their will be a few more now, which is a good thing. Billy looked to enjoy himself. I reckon he might be right about the cabin being sound. If in bad weather you could easily get your head down there. Good going. Enjoyed that. I'll check Billy's channel out. Mark
@jossthomas1234565 жыл бұрын
Wye Explorer thank you Mark, that would be a nice thought, there are signs that people are already bivvying in there, some junk in there that I tidied up and also relatively new camping frying pans and kit that has been left around, like empty gas canisters. People are strange sometimes. Even in the month between my visit I could see that things had been moved around. I saw a photo of the Caban 10 years ago and it had a row of coats still hanging up but sadly these have been pinched. Thanks for watching buddy. Atb

Aaah, that's the only thing with popularity isn't it Joss amid the mass there are people with standards a little less than our own. That's always the case sadly. Let's hope people do what you do and keep it in good nick for now and in the future. Peace maan....

You certainly like Dinorwic! Ever tried some of the quarries near your old stomping ground in the Dee Valley? Moel Ferna...Penarth? Some good wild camping pitches thereabouts and some cracking underground trips in both quarries although Ferna is a more serious undertaking as you have to ab in and shunt/prusik out.

Black Dog Vantrails thanks- Im trying to cut down but I cant help going back😀 Yeah I have camped at Moel Fferna in my pre- youtube days. Theres a great walk from Glyndyfrdwy Village up to it. Some years ago we also took the stream train from Llangollen to Glyndyfrdwy, walked over Moel Fferna to Cader Berwyn, for a camp by the lake and a walk to Bala the following day, bus trip back to Llan. Was a cracking trip. A family friend worked as a young man in the Mine at Moel Fferna before it closed, he described it as a horrendously dangerous place to work. Hope you are keeping well Atb Joss
