I say definitely. Double defense isn’t as affordable anymore and I feel Ødegaard or Havertz are the only ones guaranteed to start as forward. O injured and Havertz might be dropped deeper to accommodate the formation

In my opinion, the TAA captain thing is related to your rank. If you are one of the few like myself who does not have Haaland and will use wildcard in game week 6, it does not seem bad to captain Trent in GW 5.

I don't own Diaz so have no horse in the race. But don't quite follow your conclusion that means Luiz is less reliable. Surely if he was considering starting Gakpo against Forest, but then saw that Luiz was in good shape, so that he prioritised him over Gakpo, means Luiz is his preferred starter?

Gakpo was quality last night, diaz isn’t guaranteed to start with the form Gakpo is showing. At the moment Jota’s competition in Darwin isn’t as strong as Darwin isn’t up to speed yet. Hence why he thinks Diaz is more of a risk than Jota.

Yeah, he’s had a lower goal threat but higher expected assists so far compared to last season. So can weigh up the options but goals mean more points and he was half the price last season too haha

Some times I think the logic is a bit off here. If some players are being overloaded in minutes in things like the League Cup and CL or other European Comps I often see that as having a knocking effect on both minutes and performance during PL games. I think Rodgers is going to inevitably have to either get tested for some PL games or be taken off a lot earlier. Then players being rotated despite the manager saying I considers rotating Diaz but then he was in such good shape I didn’t. Seem contrary to what we’re being told here.

n a draft league, would you drop Muniz for Nketiah or Vardy? In regular FPL, I would not hesitate, but draft is different. If Muniz starts again and heats up, I may not be able to get him back.

I would add a third step to your wildcard process: 1. Make a GW6 wildcard team. 2. Make the changes for GW5. 3. Compare this to your current team; home games, opposition, projected points etc. You might find that your current team is better than your Step 2 team. Then you should wait and wildcard in GW6 anyway!

Depends on what you're doing with the funds. Konate/VvD look nailed on and that +2 million goes a long way in the midfield/forward department.

It's harder to have a good team with both of them and only one can score double points each week . If you choose one your 10 others are better . There's no right or wrong way to play except having neither

I've had both from the start. But might downgrade Salah to Saka. I have Raya & Robertson but would like another Arsenal defender (rotate cheap options for the 3rd spot) - get an extra 4pts most weeks. Don't think Salah will average 4 more than Saka. Defences will have settled down now
