We went from playing a game that looked like a bunch of free assets cramped into one small area with almost nothing to do (I think they were good for their time) to playing a game with original models in an expansive wilderness where it's not too cramped and everyone looks like they belong there, and there was even more things to do. It's kind of cool to see how game developers and studios evolve throughout the years.

I remember playing wolf sim and panther sim for HOURS and found countless sim games, then wildcraft came out, everybody would brag about having lynxes and shame themselves about having foxes.. its so incredible... isnt it?

I actually like the eagle sim better than the wildcraft eagle. It looks a lot more realistic. I wish it could be implemented to wildcraft in the future, but you would be able to land on trees, rocks and the ground.

The lynx and horse are the only animals they put into wildcraft that weren't based off their old games. I think they have the lynx because the team loves lynxes. Wild wolf Sim was the first TRG game I've ever played and I think it's also the first one they've made.

honestly, I think wolfquest 2.7 and wolfquest 3 are the best animal sims out there, atleast that I know of. Wildcraft definitely comes in second though! But best game? in my opinion, Minecraft :)

Correct me if I’m wrong, if you change your character into an animal you have purchased (say, a fox for example) And you change into it. You start a new family, and can go back to the old one by changing your animal back to the previous one.. and then can still access your “fox” family. Right?
