mixing the kick and leads is not the hard part of hardstyle, but it's hard to get everything in the right place and make it sound huge, nice tutorial as always man!!!

3:28 if you have kick rolls in your track such sidechaining will not work.

@@wildcrowmusic You can use Kickstart with a "Midi Out" as a trigger. Set the port in the Midi Out to "1". Go to Kickstart and click the settings wheel (the FL plugin UI settings wheel in the top left) then go to VST Wrapper settings and set the Input Port to 1. After doing that, go to Kickstarts own settings (above the presets) and change it from "Synced" to "One Shot". Use the Piano roll in Midi Out to sidechain whenever you want, even "Kick Rolls". Since I use Nimble Kick from time to time, I just copy the kicks piano roll to the "Midi Out" channel. Keep up with these helpful tutorials. :)

If you wanna use this tutorial you need 1. a shitty lead with no frequincies in it to disrupt the perfect kick 2. a nice perfect kick if you like the rest off us didn't learned anything...and care about your music.. you need to watch another tutorial.... that actually show how to mix hardstyle leads and kick....

@@wildcrowmusic I think I'm on the same level as you right now as a producer. Its all about the details and small improvments when you are at this level and you learn more from practicing than from tutorials. I've been searching for good tutorials today and I didn't find anything useful. I will release some bangers soon and Its just a mather of time when I get recognised by labels. I learned more in 3 years about music compositon and production than most producers learn in 10 years.
