right on my friend, its getting better all the way around all around the world. every1 is realizing its gonna take love and compassion to all their fellow man not just who the choose to love, that we all have to actively do all we can to help clean up the earth and are seeing every act is a BIG act no more well i cudnt make a huge impact mind set anymore, the animals ,earth and man are all showing HUGE signs of healing and correction in its flaws or progress instead of decline in all area's of life.......... it starts w OUR MIND SET and ACTIONS follow..... every soul filled body on this earth is needed , equally important and valued and has the same importance and value of life for all things of this earth, on this earth, in this earth.........we are one and i love u all.....

"We always assumed keystones had to be a predator" Can someone explain this to me? How can the keystone be a creature that doesn't produce anything? To me this sounds as if that guy originally thought that animals are bad for the environment (like when they say overgrazing, if that was a problem grass would've died out millions of years before humans even got here) and then after years of studying finally realises that huh no the animals ARE the environment

Predators were the obvious keystone species. Humans had removed so many of them from so many places that we could easily study their reintroduction and the positive effects apex predators have on the health of an ecosystem. One of the reasons herbivores get overlooked is becoming in a lot of none African ecosystems they are causing huge amounts of damage due to a complete lack of effective predators. This leads to the false idea that too many herbivores are a bad thing for an ecosystem. This can be largely blamed on shifting baseline syndrome, which is a whole can of worms that is very interesting I highly recommend reading up about it. It essentially means we see as normal and natural what we grow up observing.

Saving the Serengeti from what would have been a great intro, because finding the context after the fact was more difficult. I'd love to know the time lapse of that forested Serengeti, too. An interesting video, overall.

2:23 this shot goes hard. This is basically like seeing a huge herd of bison in the 1800s when there were millions. We let the wildebeest Do what they do and look where that got the Serengeti, Why can’t we just do the same with bison and the prairie instead of still consider them a threat all for some stupid cattle? *Why can’t we just let the Buffalo roam?*

What if we try to put a million climate alarmists and tree huggers in a national park and make them eat grass? With the right numbers of predators (lions, wolves, coyotes, bears, snakes) it could be a huge win for everybody!
@RickDeckardMemories5 жыл бұрын
@Redsand I never said tree huggers and climate alarmists are bad. I said we should try and make them eat grass in a national park, while being "quantity regulated" by predators. For the benefit of the Mother Earth!!!!
