The Duffer Brothers confirmed that Eddie is indeed dead. They said he was created specifically as a disaster charter whether he would die or live a life in which everyone views him as a murderer. Eddie could still come back in a flashback that Dustin or Mr. Munson can look back on. Or in a nightmare sequence that Vecna can used to torment them. I do think Kali will be coming back. The Duffer Brothers did say that a lot of scrapped ideas from season 2 will be used in season 5. Here’s what I think will happen… Kali sees on TV the destruction of Hawkins and tells her gang they need to go there to help El. Kali will thank Hopper and Joyce for being good parents to El. Axel and Argyle will get high on Purple Palm Tree Delight. With El and Kali together, they are an equal match against Vecna. Yes, El is more powerful now thanks to the Nina Project and her powers are the same as Vecna’s in which she moves things with her mind and enter people’s minds. But Kali also has the same powers as Vecna in creating illusions to scare people. She make Axel think spiders were on him and made Brenner appeared in front of El. So I think Kali will use her power to make Vecna think he succeeded in killing El, but he then finds out it was a trap. In the end, I’m sure Kali will sacrifice herself to save El. I do think Vecna will use Max in the final season to take down the group. Here’s what I think will happen… Vecna will wait until Max’s broken bones heal and when they are, he’ll use his powers to fix her eyesight so she’s not blind. With this, he will posses her body and pretend to be her so he can listen to what everyone’s planning against him and he can tell them what to do as Max so he can lure them into a trap. The group will notice how Max isn’t being herself. El, Lucas, and Max’s mom will notice most of all. For example, Lucas will be surprised Max doesn’t want to go on that date the two promised to do in “The Piggyback”. El will go into Max’s mind and see Vecna there instead. El tells everyone that she found out when Vecna kills people, their consciousness lives inside his mind. Therefore, they theorize Max’s is trapped in Vecna’s head. So El says she will go in there to free Max. When she goes in, El finds this mind prison and Max isn’t the only one trapped in there. It’s also the ones Vecna killed at Hawkins lab, the neighborhood pets he killed as a kid, his mother, his sister, Chrissy, Fred, Patrick, and possibly even the people used to create the Flayed Monster in season 3 like Heather and her parents. With that, Billy could be trapped in there too. Even though he regained control of his mind, the infection didn’t leave his body like how Nancy managed to get it out of Will in season 2 since we saw it come out of his mouth. Maybe when Billy let out his dying breath in front of Max, that is when Vecna absorbed his consciousness. This is a way for Max and Billy to patch things up with each other. And since Dustin said the only way to kill the Mind Flayer in D&D is to summon an undead army to kill the brain, El can free everyone trapped in the mind prison to attack Vecna. Imagine all the Hawkins lab children using their powers in his head.

@@TurkCakar-s5b Thank you. I’ve been thinking of a lot of stuff that’s probably gonna be happening in season 5. I’m pretty sure I know what Max and Billy will talk about while trapped in Vecna’s mind prison. At first, Max thinks Billy is another trick like when she saw him at the cemetery, but he holds her assuring her it’s really him. Billy will say that he did indeed hear her letter in that episode since she hoped that he could hear her and he agrees that if he survived after Starcourt, he would’ve wanted them start over and be a real brother and sister. He’ll say that when he takes Max to the arcade, he can go in with her to play a game with her. He says he would take her to any rated R movie she wanted. He would’ve even wanted to play a board game with her and her mom. Even though she wasn’t his mom, he does appreciate what she did for him. Billy also says that he doesn’t blame Max for originally wanting him dead, like ending up in a car accident, because of how he treated her. Billy says that he truly is sorry for everything he did. And after El frees everyone and attacks Vecna to slow him down, Max gets emotional because she knows that Billy won’t be able to come back to life like her. Billy assured her that now El freed everyone, he can move on to the afterlife and one day, they’ll be reunited. The two hug for a goodbye and Billy says “I love you, sis.” which makes Max cry because Billy has finally accepted her as his sister. She then says “I love you too.” Then Max wakes up. She sees everyone surrounding her. The first person she sees is Lucas. They hug and as a callback to “Dear Billy”, she’ll say “I’m still here”. Max’s mom will then hug her. Everyone can then join in for a group hug. If you wanna read anymore stuff I’m pretty sure is gonna happen in season 5, let me know and I’ll reply to you. I’ve shared a whole bunch of other stuff to my friends and they think I am accurately correct where they show is going.

@@rjoe-ul9yj I of course would've liked to see Argyle high on Purple Palm Tree Delight with Eddie. I was really disappointed the two didn't get to meet. If you think about it, they could've been a great duo for season 5. They literally would've been the Bill & Ted of this show. Eddie would teach Argyle how to play rock music and even how to play D&D. With learning music, they could form their own band together. And if Eddie graduated, he could've went to the same college as Argyle and the two would become roommates. Just imagine them together smoking weed in their own apartment and having all the pizza they want. Arygle could've even gotten him a job at Surfer Boy Pizza and they would create their own toppings. Having these guys become best buds was such a missed opportunity.

Detailed version of the Kas theory that's been floating around. Personally, *I don't believe in this theory* but I do hope he comes back some way, even if it's a memory or just a mention of his name. 1. Steve, Dustin and Max have mentioned the word, "Vampire" "Dracula", and " steaks through hearts" in this season so might be throwing a bit of a hint. 2. Mike mentions "Kas" in their DnD game so the DBs are aware of his character. 3. The Demobats got randomly introduced this season along with Eddie. They were never shown in previous seasons. Whenever it showed Will, Nancy, Joyce, Hopper, Billy etc in the Upside Down in the past, the bats were never to be seen or heard, whereas in season 4, whenever they were in the Upside Down, the bats were always the main problem 4. In the DnD lore, Kas was bitten by a bat in the game, in this case, a Demobat, and then died. Moments after his death, he was brought back as a vampire. 5. Kas' weapons are a Sword and a spiked Shield. Eddie weilds a spiked Shield with nails and the Sword could be either his guitar or the one Hopper was using against the Demogorgon, which is also a little strange that they just randomly added that in the show too. 6. Eddie's tattoos relate a lot to vampires and Vecna. Firstly, Eddie's bats tattoo, then a tattoo of a vampire. He also has a puppet tattoo and a tattoo of a black widow. 7. Eddie plays Master Of Puppets and just like his tattoo it can mean that Vecna would use him as a puppet.

i read a book called "Stranger Things: Suspicious Minds" it was basically what happened before the Demogorgon and the mind flayer and all that jazz were around. Terry Ives (011's biological mother) volunteered to be a part of the experiment thinking it would be helping her country, and she was dating her boyfriend (Andrew Rich) at the time and they were really in love. El was born in 1971 (i believe?) which means Terry was pregnant with her during the time that she was involved with the MK-Ultra. Terry was dating Andrew all through her time with the MK-Ultra. Meaning that Andrew is 011's biological father. Sadly, he died fighting in the Vietnam war. Feel free to correct me. 💗

I consider most of these as unlikely or unappealing, but some make more sense than others: 1. Eddie returning - nah this sounds like just wishful thinking 2. Karen playing a bigger role - sure, but she's too old to be Henry's sister 3. Will having powers - I think Will is probably strongly connected with Vecna and was chosen for specific reasons. But I'm skeptical that he'll gain 11's powers; rather he may be manipulated. 4. Ms. Kelly - pretty interesting theory, but probably coincidence. I don't mind if her being a minion becomes true though. 5. Kali return - this is a pretty big gamble given the previous backlash, but I could maybe see something here. They have to be very careful to pull it off, probably not worth the trouble. Just a light revisit to tie things up might be enough. 6. Henry being 11's father - could maybe see this. I think it would have to be Dr. Brenner's doing. I don't love the idea, but it's not far fetched. 7. Vecna's death triggers Max to wake up - Maybe, many Max storylines/theories would work fine. Depends on how they set up the characters' main motivations this season.

I think that will having powers is a likely accurate theory. Think of it this way. Eleven lost her powers due to trauma in season 3. What if Vecna knew that will had powers, or that he was to develop them soon, and vecna took him to the upside down to plant a traumatizing experience in his memory that would stick with him for the rest of his life. However, some type of power could have stayed, since he is able to sense when vecna is near anytime he is near him, even in a normal state of mind, having a stronger connection than any of the flayed or curse victims.

I have a crazy theory for stranger things it might not make sense the first time u read it, if u payed very close attention u could see Fred in the last episode of season four carrying boxes in the back-round, BUT in the upside down it’s still in the year 1983 but since Fred is there maybe part of Vecnas curse is that Hawkins will go back to the year 1983 and that Vecnas curse was a slow process and that he was still alive but it still counts as a kill because it still happened in time and after all 4 kills Hawkins will go back to the year 1983 and be stuck in that time zone

I think it's down to 2, they defeat vecna in an epic battle and then will,11, Eddie and others infected by the upside down,have to stay in the upside down,so it stops spreading in hawkins.my 2nd theory is darker,they figure out they have to go back in time and stop vecna from going to the upside down. With that,everyone returns and the start from 1983,backlash from it,no memories of each other or 11. Here's a left field prediction: in S5, the citizens of Hawkins will realize that a conspiracy has been going on under their noses for years, which has unleashed "hell" on their town. They will interpret this literally, as a sign that Armageddon has begun, right in their little town. They will blame the people in their midst for not warning them, perhaps being accessories to Satan, especially the adults: Joyce, Hopper and Murray. But the kids won't be any more exempt than poor Eddie was, from the witch hunt. Stranger Things hasn't yet really used a standard Stephen King trope: religious fanatics as villains. They still have time to check this off the list. And you can see their point of view. Why didn't the older teens like Steve and Nancy at least realize that somebody had to warn their neighbors what was going on, after the events of S3? Hopper was gone, Joyce is nuts, Murray is a paranoid kook but the teens should have said something. You could make a good case that they should bear partial responsibility for the deaths in S4. After S3, the whole town should have been evacuated. Maybe they would have been ignored as silly kids pulling a prank but once they had a stable "hellgate" in S4, they could have grabbed the new sheriff and taken him for a guided tour.

As much as I hate to agree with you, your synopsis seems about right. I would hate to see anyone sacrificed. I love Happy Endings, lol. But it does make sense to me. I also have to agree. This is one of the best shows my top five of all times as well and I am so looking forward to season five. Henry just went into a coma, and was said to have died two days later. That's why him being alive made sense. Alice's bones were snapped and her eyes were gouged out, and we saw her eyeless corpse. I have a theory Spoil alerts So you know how everyone is taking about how time travel might be used in season 5 of stranger things, well I think I know why. the upside down is Hawkins, a couple years in the future. And you know how at the end of season four Hawkins is like destroyed and turning into the upside down. Well when will was having episodes in season 2 he might be able to see into the future and thats why Hawkins was destroyed and when you enter the upside down your in the future if of Hawkins. This might be how they’ll defeat Vecna. This is only a theory and there’s not many supporting details but I think it’s a pretty good theory.
