That electric bike is the absolute best in terms of practicality and price. 99.99% of other electric bikes aren’t going to have a better value than that bike. Certainly there may be trade-offs in that bike but the huge battery capacity is something that Wildeway never give up on.

@j-rollz Жыл бұрын
@turboleggy You're probably talking about the downgraded version that has mechanical brakes instead of hydraulic, and the motor is 500 watts and peaks at 750 compared to the 750 watt motor that peaks at 1000 watts. The best upgrade is not to get the cheaper one. Otherwise, I only roll with a phone mount and a bag for the rear rack. Not really much to upgrade but that depends on your purpose for the bike
@turboleggy Жыл бұрын
@@j-rollz I have a emtb. Need something foldable that can be ok to take packrafting..as long as both bikes have the same durability then I think it's fine for me. If the cheaper one has worse components then maybe I'd reconsider but for $900 out the door (for friends to use when they rode with me, or grocerry store runs , and pack rafting) I figure I and they can pedal if need be. Or should I look at other used bikes? I mostly need something at a price I don't have to worry about leaving in public locked up or taking pack rafting...probably stay dry but if it turns over then idk...1k to 1.5k is probably what I'd be ok spending on this venture.

I’ve had this bike for a pretty long time now (3.0 bike )and it’s served me well but I really want to get a more powerful motor onto it (1500) watts but I don’t know if the controller will work with it and also I’ve been wanted to turn it into a twist throttle bike but no throttle is compatible with the bike
@j-rollz5 ай бұрын
When you stand on this bike and throttle, the twist throttle is not good enough. The throttle that it currently has is great for it. As for the motor, the 4.0 has a more powerful motor. It's more than enough, but if you're looking for greater power, then a different bike is probably your best bet.

I know your just starting out with E-bikes and your Fw11, but one day you might want to upgrade the E-Bikes controller so you can go faster, but before you make upgrades, it would be great to have a recording for your channel of the current top speed with it's stock parts, It's only weakest point is the 750 watt motor, (which I would not upgrade unless the manufacturer said it was OK) but the controller you can upgrade and I've seen other You-tubers do it on there E bikes and gain 3 to 4 miles more per hour, Looking forward to test ride review's with this model, because it is a rare model to get a 32 AMP battery and still folds up. Also curious about the suspension over potholes in the city,

I bought two of these the first one was somehow easier to put together, the second one is a nightmare. Neither came with the tire attached, I've seen videos with them installed on the bike when unboxing. No big deal, except for in the instructions there is literally nothing, not a drop about what to do, how to do it, what tools to use or screws to use just I guess you ought to know? That's fine, the first bike got the wheel on fine, second bike a disaster, the caliper for the brake is so tight that it won't fit and the screw to release it is stripped (a few of us wrenched on it to try and get it out) We got a few other screws to release so that the front wheel would spin SLIGHTLY, we spent so much time on this that we decided to just move on and ran immediately into another problem...the battery... for some reason, the battery will not lock into place, every time we slide it down the guide it stops about 1 inch above the connection, it makes a clicking sound too as it SOUNDS like its locking into place but it's so clearly not. The other bike was totally fine, I took the battery out and tried to put it into the other bike frame and it had the same issue stopping 1 inch before connection. So multiple things are wrong with 1 bike, it's a holiday so we're going to wait til Monday to contact support and take pictures, but does anyone know what else I could do to fix the situation myself? Thank you.

@j-rollz5 ай бұрын
You're welcome! From what the manufacturer told me, it's ok to get it a little wet. Basically, puddle splashes and light rain. They do not recommend spraying down the bike for washing. Heavy rain is definitely not good. They say it's ip67 rated, but it's doubtful. Light snow you can probably get away with, but anything around the battery or the motor you need to avoid getting wet. If your planning to use this as a commuter in all weather conditions, this may not be the bike for you.

The Victrip is basically the same bike as the Wildeway, same manufacturer just different branding and colors. The Wallke H6 Max does have a 40ah battery but is different and more expensive. Im glad that the video was helpful to you. I also made a 4 months later video. I have not been able to discharge the battery, and the most I have done is 37 miles on throttle only, and it still had plenty of battery left. 3 bars out of 5, to be exact. There is an earlier review that someone else did, and they were able to get 65 miles on throttle only until the battery died. With pedal assist, you should be able to get around 100 miles, but so many factors can change that. Your cargo weight and terrain make a big difference in the battery life. If you want it, I believe it's a solid bike for the money. They have the 3.0, which is the downgraded version, but could possibly meet your needs if you're on a tighter budget.
