Golden Jubilee run ceremony of the film 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' directed by actor and film director Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor can be seen celebrating the Golden Jubilee run of the film while Randhir Kapoor son of Raj Kapoor stands near Raj Kapoor.
The film was written by Raj Kapoor and screenplay of the film by V. P. Sathe. Rajiv Kapoor, Divya Rana, Saeed Jaffrey, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raza Murad and Sushma Seth played the important characters in the film. The film was released in the year 1985 and won the Filmfare Award for Best Film.
As a viewer explains, a 50 week run for a film refers to a golden jubilee. 25 weeks in the theater means it's a silver jubilee, diamond jubilee means 100 weeks and platinum means 75 weeks.
