Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed this Synthwave remix of Wildfire! This is such a challenge for me to make as it required to extract the vocals from the original track and there are still certain elements such as the crash or some guitar sounds spilling. But thank you to my good friend Momo, I managed to get the vocals quite clean! As for the thought process for this theme, there isn’t actually much to talk about. Lately I am really interested on creating synthwave music so I thought it’d be fun to create a synthwave remix of Wildfire! Composition wise is really different compared to the original one, but I personally think that is to be expected since rock was the original genre of the track and creating it to a synthwave genre should sound really different hahah, but at the end of the day it was a really fun experiment and I thoroughly enjoyed creating this one!

Synthwave is one of my favourite sub genres! You can start by listening to Cyberpunk’s soundtrack (though it’s more to dark wave than synthwave but they share some similar traits!)
