fattyjaybird the dead wood and grass decomposes into dirt really quickly. So you are WRONG. That whole theory is WRONG. All you have to do is take a look at the forest floor. Dig in there a bit. It’s very rich decomposed wood and leaves. Doesn’t take more than a few years for a good sized log to decompose into dirt.

Why doesn't the USA use the technology to create rain. I just saw on you tube about man made rain. They've been doing it in the Emirates countries. In Dubai in 2019, they did 27 ( if I'm not mistaken) "cloud feedings" that brought rain to the areas. It said, it cost Dubai $ 500 million a year. It needs a bit of humidity in the sky. As the residues of the storms from Baja brought that needed humidity even in small quantities, may be it could be used for making the rain. China has been doing it too since 6 years, to controlthe dessert movements ( to prevent it moves closer towards Beijing).

You have to consider the environment, lack of moisture in the air, and the fact places like California have been fighting an ongoing drought for decades making for, millions of dead trees and dead underbrush, which along with the dried out grass; makes for abundant fuel for the fire to burn. The state Fire Marshal stated that, in just the last ten or so years fires, burn hotter, move quicker, and thus quickly grow larger, all due to global warming. Sadly many folks think it's a hoax, especially in America where the GOP has been claiming this for decades, even though Big Oil's own research showed around the same time Big Tobacco realized smoking causes cancer in the 60's that; the burning of fossil fuels would most likely devestate the global environment. So, in the same way big tobacco has been willing to continue killing people; big oil knew fossil fuels would result in the sort of events we are now seeing, and thus has been willing to kill people. No surprise then that, the agency that developed the campaign to try and protect big tobacco, is the same protecting big oil.

Earthquakes can happen in any weather, however when there is a sudden melt of snow or laying down of snow; it can affect pressure on faults. The average temp a few feet underground is 65 degrees Fahrenheit, so I dought the fire or the weather will make much of a difference in regards to earthquakes.
