The second one had this more icy feeling if being vulnerable in a place that should be familiar being creepy and ruined. The maw is such an alien place that it feels incredibly off-putting. It is a giant sea vessel, and everything there is just WRONG. The kitchen and onwards make sense in their purpose of serving the vanity of the lady, but the lair, prison, and ESPECIALLY depths are just so baffling as to why they exist. Why are the depths THERE? Why are they flooded? Why is a scary sea hag down there?!?!?!

I guess I am in the minority of people who are genuinely excited for this game. It looks great a whole new area to explore with a whole new vibe. Can’t wait to figure out how it all fits together. The added co op is going to be incredible to play with a friend and have to fight off big scary monsters. The colours are good, and there are many new areas, some with the same horrific blue and purple eeriness we all love! i know the big change is scary, or a lot of trust to put into the creators, but i think it’ll be alright. and even if it isn’t that’s okay! not every game will fit everyone’s taste :-D

Just my opinion...but they costumes seem too goofy for how serious this series is...like I get it they children and children do child-like things...but I really hope they don't flop with this game, because this game has the potential to mess the whole series up if it's not good: 1 for how long we've been waitin, and 2 for how dark and gritty the series is as a whole...from their outfits to how non-threatenin the environment looks, all the way to how playful and non intimidatin the giant baby looks, iono fam...I'ma give it a shot because I'm beyond a fan of the whole LN series...I understand it's a demo people, I get it I really do...but I'm tellin y'all, and I'm sure heavy fans can see where I'm comin from when I say this...the vibe, the costumes, the enemy, the whole aesthetic, LOOKS like Little Nightmares, but it doesn't FEEL like Little Nightmares 💯...I could be trippin though, let me know with some feedback...I'm not always right on things...

The costumes aren’t really goofy imo. We have characters like the ghost kid who literally wears a sheet over themselves. According to the podcast it seems as though when the kids sleep they get transported to the nowhere. Meaning they appear there with whatever they have on when they went to sleep. Items are also found throughout the environment they appear in so it’s not really, goofy.

I get what you're saying, I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt, but you can really tell that Tarsier Studious is no longer working on this game. Just from what I've seen, it feels a little more derivative of other games in a similar genre with the post-apocalyptic setting and kinda generic porcelain baby monster. Tarsier was really good at taking somewhat familiar places and twisting them into how a child sees the world, this isn't striking in that same way.

I think people are being a little too critical on the studio change. These 8 minutes are not representative of the entire game, especially for people saying it's "too bright". Watch the trailer, if they showed off the other areas then it'll spoil the whole game. Regardless I think it looks great! It looks and feels like a LN game, the music is just as ominous, the sound design is just as peak, and the fact you can play it solo or co-op is really neat for people who want that option. We haven't even seen the main antagonist or the other antagonists yet, and the petrification eye shows it's at least in the same universe. I think we might finally get some answers! I understand it's not Mono and Six but... you saw the ending to the last game right? The entire game was focused on those two, this was the right move especially considering their stories are done.

I was hoping to see something that was more evident of upping the anti for a 3rd game, but from what I saw in the trailer it looked closer to a rushed installment but with a co-op interaction of the characters. Hopefully it will at least be good but given the impact of the second game it will probably not live up to same level of prestige as least in my book as a horror survival fan but whatever hope I'm wrong and I also hope they get rid of all the reused/slightly modified assets in this trailer that reek of a DLC level

This game doesn't feel like a Little Nightmares game, the gameplay is the same but that's all. It's too bright, the fact that you can do coop or you have weapons on you just break the whole thing. I know Mono had a hammer at some point in the story to hit the bullies but he didn't keep it with him for the whole story that's what I'm saying. Also some design look very inspired by the movie 9 by Shane Acker, one of the kid having 6's hair and 7's hat as a mask, and the monster having a flashlight like the catbeast to spot the stitchpunks/children (I love this movie but it just doesn't give LN vibes anymore). I don't really get why the monster have to be a giant baby doll thingy, all the monsters from the previous 2 LN were adults because they represented childhood fears (like going to the doctor or to class can be scary) and LN3 feels more like a lore breaker than anything else. I'm kind of disappointed by this game but I know that's only an alpha demo so maybe the final game will be better than this. But I still believe this game should have been its own thing and not LN3, just a game with a similar gameplay as the Little Nighmares franchise without being a Little Nightmares, you know what I mean? (Sorry if I made mistakes English is not my first language)

I think the same, they say that that would take away the tension, but I think it doesn't matter, they have to think about all audiences and their different tastes, there will be people who like online but there are people who would love to play with a family member or a friend to this game, and simply excluding these people seems to me the least appropriate when it comes to selling a game, come on man, just add the local option without making it mandatory to use that mode

I’m kinda mixed with LN3. I definetly think it’s in good hands, looks amazing and all. It just feels like the charm of the original game has kind of faded..? LN2 and especially 3 seem to be leaning into the more “horror” aspects; which isn’t unwelcome. It just feels a bit new. But I definetly don’t think it’s going to be a flop.

It reminds me a lot of the location from Rayman origins: the desert. singing such elements. destroyed locations-flying on streams of hot air. I love it so much, I really love little nightmares. and then there's the atmosphere of an old game of my favorite game. Everything I love has come together.
