Marlin Perkins travels to Guyana to join Stan Brock in a cattle drive. Soon they are aware of a jaguar marauding the herd. There is only one thing to do if the drive is to continue ... catch the jaguar.

Stan Brock was a real asset to this show. His experience and critter-wrangling skills brings a whole new dimension to these programmes. RIP, Stan.

A part of my childhood. We lived in Guayana for several years. Stan Brock was a friend of my Dad's. He founded Remote Medical, and spent his life working for poor rural people to have basic medical care. He never married, or even had a home. Sleeping bag and sometimes a tent, wherever he needed to be. A modern saint.

There is an area of Guyana 🇬🇾 that’s good enough for Texas Longhorns.

If only the Guyanese government would consider building a series of hydroelectric plants to harness the Rupinuni River for electric power as well as building a railroad to the Dadanawa Ranch so that live steers are better transported to the National capitol in Georgetown for the meat packing facilities. Furthermore, crossbreeding domestic cattle with African Cape Buffalo and Wildebeests would give certain ranchers an edge against the possibility of a prowling Jaguar, especially if the herd also contained both Gaur, Mithun, Kouprey, and Banteng.
