I wish the local folks knew how special they are to be surrounded with species of all kinds. Once they are gone- it will be too late.

What else can be said about a Country or Continent that exterminates it's own indigenous livelihood! That would be a sad day for any. It's saddening to See Africa! When so much is hidden.

I just have a question: are there any preditors in the cat family or any other kinds of preditors in or near the gorilla's natural habitat that would be a threat to them & their young? And what country or countries are the gorilla's habitats located in?

5:29 WRONG, it was the indigenous Africans who already discovered and knew the Mountain Gorillas’ behavior before George Shalour even showed up.

***** Humans are destructive and greedy by nature, but then so too are many animals. If any wild populations are left unchecked they can destroy the eco system in that area. I use to trap fur animals for the State. If there were to many beaver in one area, we had to trap them out or they would ruin the eco system in that area and cause all kinds of havoc. If deer herds are left unchecked they will over populate and soon starvation and disease set in. We do need to stop tearing down our forest's or there will be more than just the wild animals to worry about. The greedy poachers and loggers are destroying so much it is just sickening.

Elizabeth Gaspodnetich Humans shouldn't play God. Animals have just as much right to be here as we do. Nature takes care of itself.

The farmers around Gorilla habitat should plant some goodies where their farms meet the forest so they may have more food to eat. The way I see it the farm land is all Gorilla habitat taken from them in the name of progress.

But that's a very good thing, this is great to watch! :) it doesn't have any of the cheesy off putting directing, and effects we get in documentary's these days. this is just about the subject, and not about yet anther boring directer with a big ego trying to copy the matrix just like everyone else.

Fake chewing sounds are so gross and annoying. I think gorillas poop more than 3 kilos for the big adults per day. Usually first thing in the morning. They just poop with their butt pointed out of their nest and drop a massive log right where they just got up from. Many gorilla usually eat their poop and they drop snack logs every few hours all day. Guess that's what happens when you gulp n munch them down as soon as you're able to pull them out 🤷‍♂️
