I hate it when you see collars on a magnificent being that looks way too tight. How would you feel if someone darted you and you woke up with this uncomfortable thing that you can't take off. I know people will say, " well, it helps us to know them better", but at what cost to them???

Think of it this way, a few have to endure the collar so that the majority can be protected. Without these studies, it would be difficult to argue for their conservation.
