Bravo. I used to drive a bus around Richmond Park and Bushy, long before you were even born. Makes me a little homesick.

Thank you for this amazing video. 🙏 I am visiting London and watching this video made me to make sure to go Richmond park before leaving. You have such a calm nice voice and obviously, a deep connection to nature. ❤

Thanks mate :) It’s a lovely park, let me know if you start to notice any more of its wildlife! Try under the many logs and fallen trees, they’re like treasure troves of biodiversity.

London has a surprising amount of green spaces! Richmond is an incredible park and it looks like you had an amazing time! The deer make excellent landscape artist 😍 I love when you bring in the importance of trees and fungi, I am biased about the animals but you make it clear the importance that they have on the environment even when they’re decomposing! 💚

It’s my favourite place in the whole city, though I’m hoping to find some less-known spots of natural beauty to visit and document. Know of anywhere? I might do the Wetlands Centre or Kew as well. There’s a surprising amount of wildlife here 💛

What a beautiful video packed with cute animals images in their habitat and knowledgable author, guiding us with such a beautiful background music and a enjoyable narrative..... it is so very lovely to see a young guy with this wisdom and love for nature, very touching and a great example of what youth can do with love and positive mentality ...... awwww bless this wizard boy, Im going to subscribe ! My partner and me love going to Richmond park when is sunny and look for little quiet areas aways from lose dogs and big loud families that leave their rubbish and food on the grass, probably pee and POO in the little stream like in their country aghhhh so we hide away during weekends in this majestic amazing park... ....we love this place so much ! Thank you for such really beautiful and knowledgable video !!

Nice video, produced to your usual high standard, with excellent footage. I'm afraid I must take issue with your geography though Leo! 😆 You state near the beginning: "At the heart of London, at the very centre of the busy crowds and heavy traffic that worms its way through the city from dawn 'til dusk, there's an unexpected refuge to be found" Richmond Park is 13km from the middle of London!!! That's over 8 miles! We'll file that one under "Natural World Fables" shall we? 😆😂🤣 Otherwise brilliant 👍😎👍

Thanks, and oops apologies for that one! It’s often said that my emotive language and existential raving gets a bit carried away from other phrasing that might be more accurate, or... arguably, more helpful 😂😂 To be fair though, I live in central London and it was half an hour by tube, so my sense of location is slightly skewed by the modern convenience of public transport! But yes, yes, let’s open the Natural World Fables file 😂😂 I like telling stories, just not when I’ll inevitably claim the ‘Wondrously beauteous depths of the Amazon Rainforest lie within the bustling centre of East Croydon’.
