Amazing story-telling in this episode. The circle of life can be tough to witness but you did it justice.

Love the ICM shot of the running lion. The first image (13:04) works well.

Unreal images mate. The slow shutter panning shots look pretty cool as well. 🤙

That was so good!!! Loved your closeups of the first male lion and later that scowl on the female. Your narration did a great job of conveying just how harsh and challenging the environment was (for the animals and the photographers ;-)

That female was not the happiest lion I've ever photographed, haha

The clip on the lion resting its head on the elephant foot is SO wild. What a moment to witness.

A female looking back at a male and scowling, that's crazy talk, I tell you, crazy talk 😂 OMG all the lions sleeping is so cool 😍. Love the images and the video. 👍👍

Great video. I really think your main panning shot of the lion worked well, the movement on its mane was perfect. Its a harsh beautiful area

Thanks Mike, I feel like if I would have given myself about double the shutter speed I did, the image would have been incredible. So I was kicking myself a bit. But it was a bit of a guess on the shutter speed as I've never tried that on running lions before!

The slow exposure is still cool!!! It’s artistic and interesting 👍🏻 would love to see you try it again with any moving subject 😃

It works really well with cars, scooters, etc. But I never tried it on wildlife like this. It was fun to try.

How’d you sleep knowing those lions were out there?!!😳
@BrendanvanSon2 күн бұрын
Haha, they are so loud at night too. They wake you up. But there's no way they'll bother you. Too busy guarding territory, finding food and mates.
