Great video Jason! 😆 I know the "cons" that oil artists say about acrylics, but I just wanted to mention one. With acrylics the artist really should varnish when the paintings done. The dullness you mention goes away. In doing this you can't tell the difference between oils and acrylics. Of course, this depends on how you paint. 😉 Beautiful tiger!!!

Yes you are spot on about the varnish. The main problem with most acrylics is that they dry so flat in the dark areas whilst painting that it makes colour matching very difficult. Schmincke was the best of all the ones I tested for not doing that.
