Nicely done, Braden. I've got an M2 on order with my holiday orders along with a K270W, 54/2560 case, and tail cone end closure. Hoping to fly it on that load at Airfest. Also, in your video you mention building with 1/4-20 all-thread as well as using the Additive sled (also in description). Though, that sled uses 10-24 all-thread; the holes in the sled aren't big enough to fit 1/4-20. Edit: I just realized this is Tim's YT channel and not Braden's! lol

Whoops, you're correct. That's my mistake. 10-24 is indeed correct.

How are you attaching the shock cord to the booster?

Bob Smith makes safer epoxy. 👈😉

How would you retain the motor and mount the shock cord if you use a DMS motor? I would love to fly this on an L1000.

What’s better proline 4500 epoxy or jb weld??

Cool! Just added this to my Birthday list. How do you recommend you should do motor retention?
@RocketVlogs2 жыл бұрын
The way I plan on doing it, as with many MD builds, is to friction fit the case into the airframe using masking tape and anchor the shock cord to the top of the motor.

@@RocketVlogs Thanks. I was figuring that was the plan but thought I would ask. I just get really worried/paranoid about ejecting the case and damaging or losing it.

Would there be any substantial differences for the carbon fiber version they had on Black Friday sales?
