Great video and it helped tipped me into buying the A1 over the Ender 3D. 20 minutes to assemble to pressing the button for 1st print. Wow its almost plug & play and so simple for a newbie 3D printer like myself. Exceptional quality from Bamboo Labs and have not regretted getting the Combo and not stopped printing for over a week now, just love it.

A1 user here when using the AMS system in multicolor prints with more than 1 object theres an option to print 1 object with its colors and then it will start to print the other object resulting in less poop. Always when slicing check the amount of flushed filament. The problem you had here every layer it swapped filament resulting in a LOT of poop.

I love how Bambulabs picks and chooses who gets good customer service and which shipments get prioritized over others. I've sent back a faulty AMS weeks ago for a replacement I haven't heard jackshit from them since confirming they received the unit. Complete bait'`n switch to get me to send back the unit and now I have a P1S combo I haven't been able to use in weeks because half the combo won't ship back to me from Bambulabs. It's what I get for dropping $1400 in their company to get shafted but I'm glad they prioritize the youtube reviewer above all so the appearance of good business is maintained.
@lysergicpillamyd4833 ай бұрын
Bambu Labs is trash. The printers really don't do anything more than what any other printer can do. Sure you may have to do the fine tuning yourself compared to a Bambu Labs automated calibrations, but you can get any printer to run just as good. The customer service alone on top of the overall price makes it not worth it.
@Cjx0r3 ай бұрын
@@lysergicpillamyd483 generally agree. I kind of got over the whole "dialing it in" phase very quickly and usually just use a printer for prototyping or just general home improvement. P1S was a pretty decent choice but you'll find it lacking a few weeks in when you realize youre stuck on that 256 cubed build plate and stuck buying their ever changing-price filament spools. Srsly, I've have this printer for not even 2 months and I've seen the price of filaments change 3 times in that period. They also update their warranty frequently but don't change the date like no1 has and archive of how it changed since last week.

As far as I can tell the only good thing is the speed, bringing proprietary software and firmware into an open source market should be a crime. 3d printing it’s pretty much the one thing where it’s generally accepted that you can modify your own property thoroughly and completely. Almost every market is currently full of greedy corporations that wants to make it difficult to service or modify things you pay for in whole, just so they can squeeze more money out of you by making you send stuff in for service.

@@lysergicpillamyd483I am really glad I got my kobra 2. They are cheap as hell on eBay. I thought the bamboo Labs might have been a game-changer but I see that it's just you can use more than one filament color without stopping. Yes seems they were hyped to look like the next thing. I'm really glad that I read in the comments somewhere when someone was talking about all these printers and how the new ones coming out are the same as the old ones without any new features! 😂 You can get the Cobra 2 neo for dirt cheap!

When doing multi prints you can print them separately on the bed at the same time using diff colors instead of one at a time per print
@cameronwilson18152 ай бұрын
Yeah but it would create a lot of waste because between each layer the nozzle would have to purge twice creating two "Poops" per layer, so it would get very wasteful very quickly. With most of these prints there's not enough space between pieces to be able to fit them both on the bed without intefering with the nozzle.

The change of color is so often on some prints, you are better off to print in the lightest color for the entire piece, then when done take off those that are the base color, and get a small paint sprayer and fill the other areas color with a plastics safe paint to reduce the plastics poop on each color switch. That is if many prints are large and have many layers w more than one color.

Does finely stirring the coffee grounds actually change the taste? Seems like you could use a toothpick and save 60 bucks
@WildRoseBuilds3 ай бұрын
when water is forced through uneven coffee grounds it tends to take the path of least resistance leading to some of the more densely packed areas of grounds not getting fully saturated. tamping the grounds usually elevates this and ensures everything in your portafilter is at the same density. a toothpick definitely works but a wdt tool just adds another fun step to the ritual of coffee making. I'm no coffee snob but its fun to dabble in the world of tech and coffee sometimes!

My A1 arrived broken out of the box, which naturally wasn't discovered until after the assembly and calibration processes. But that wasn't the worst part. The nightmare began when I started dealing with Bambu's tech support. One tech in particular wanted me to disassemble the entire X-Arm for an issue that really just needed a dab of hot glue . . but he assured me that the agonizing process he insisted upon "would make me more familiar with the printer." Long story short, the tech support experience was so counterproductive I just sent the thing back. Life is too short to deal with that kind of insanity.

@BlackKnight200012 күн бұрын
The Timelapse function he uses stops the printer and moves the extruder out of the way after each layer to take a picture. During the stop plastic oozes from the extruder nozzle so it uses that tower to wipe the ooze away so it doesn’t make a blob or imperfection on the actual object he’s printing when it goes back to continue.
