Rosie, I just discovered you 4 days ago. I am watching all your videos . I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT WORK YOU TO DO TO MAKE THIS LITTLE HOUSE A HOME! Fixing up this run-down cabin, your talents and precision in your talents for design and functionality, have left your audiences speechless. You are amazing and calm as you face a new issue as it comes about when you are working so hard to be precise and caring you put into practice is inspiring to watch. When I was young, ( in the mid 70s, I fantasized about living in a cabin the wilderness in Montana or Wyoming , Opening a general store. I too love the thought of a quiet life without drama! But my fate took a different turn of events. I met a wonderful, loving, gentle and funny man. We had 2wonderful sons together. And time flew away as we lived a quiet life in a small town in Indiana with only 1500 people. But we’re retired and set in our lives with our grown sons and their families living only 30 minutes away. We’ve spent 25 years loving grandchildren, 5 of them and traveling about the western states, and plans we have to visit Alaska. You keep up the great work you’re doing as we will be watching. 😢Thanks for living your dreams. / Helen in Indiana. We still love being together married 47 years. We love watching people like you carve out a life alone without many luxuries we take for granted on a daily basis😅. We admire how self sufficient you are and the things you have to do to it easier to live out in th wilderness. I so wish , as a retired high school teacher, we could sit together and 😅

It's not about the stuff you make Rosie, it's about you, defying your own perfectionism every single day. I admire the way you keep on challenging yourself, and growing from it. Not by making better stuff, but by learning to accept, and sometimes even embrace your own 'flaws'. You inspire a lot of people just by being you. Thank you for that!

here's an idea for your shelf doors to be able to block the window if you wanted. on one of the doors inside, you could add a thin piece of board to the back with hinges so when you open both up you have a third door that opens up and crosses the gap to the other door. And so that smaller "door" isnt flapping around you could recess magnets into both sides top and bottom and then on the other door. so you would need 6 magnets 2 you cut the thin door and recess into that then see where it closes, mark that position and recess into first door then open them all and close the gap and mark on the other side where the magnets sit and repeat the process

My beloved grandmother lived to a ripe old age. All my life she said that a person of character was compassionate with out being a push over. Was honest, especially to oneself without having to voice that to others. Obeyed the basics of society, don't steal, don't knowingly hurt others, etc. But never let society decide who you are at your core. Because then the world loses all the beauty and creativity of your unique being. She said that the most important thing she had built within was resilience Because that meant that you could change to fit the challenge so you would never be defeated by life's vagaries. As I have watched your videos I have admired your resilience.

The fabric looks super comfy as well and I really like the colour, though I do think it's hilarious that you bought it despite not liking orange. Congratulations that you got the waffle iron, though I'm not quite sure why it is so big (and why it rotates). I do love your realisation that you shouldn't deprive yourself of good things in your life just because you're "not supposed to" do XYZ. The great thing about being an adult is that you absolutely can have waffles any time you like. Enjoy the simple things in life and don't deliberately deprive yourself of joy. Hi Rosie, your waffle machine will be a nice addition to your kitchen! Your recipe looks delicious! Waffles will fill you up so you can be more productive. Your woodwork came out beautiful and so did your new dress. I have never heard you mention what kind of wild animals live in your woods except for deer and cute bunnies. Stay safe and happy!

Ok all of this is so great. I absolutely love the dress but more importantly that you go out in the dress to show it off to the forest like a little flame dancing on the mossy dance floor. You, the dress and the forest are all so beautiful 😊. I also think your woodworking shots are so well lit, lovely natural light falling on the wood. And combining the drone and close ups on the outside sanding shots. And then there is this amazing window surround which shouts look at me I'm a window. I love this because its drawing your eye outside which after all is the point of being in a cabin in the woods, whats going on outside. I want to build built in wardrobes in my cabin and now i'm watching closely to see how you're framing it etc. I've got so much to learn from you Rosie... I want to learn how to make such beautiful films to inspire others to be in nature and try creative projects themselves. I really aspire to be where you are at with delivering this message. I really enjoyed this video thank you ❤️

Hi Rosie, I have just spent the last 2.5 days binging your channel. I love it! As far as I know, you are doing everything a person can do to have a small impact on the world. Your design sense is beautiful and your home is calm and inviting. I appreciate your philosophy of doing, not letting fears keep you from that and at the same time acknowledging your personality and needs. You seem to enjoy your life and the challenges it brings you. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! I fully agree with your waffle-maker purchase, if it matters at all. 😉 You are an inspiration.

The living room is looking so nice. You have done a really good job. Also, your sewing skills are very good. I worked as a designer for Costumes for film and television. My tailors had all the bells and whistles but you had none and the dress looks professionally made. I like it a lot and it suits you very well. The waffles did give some comic relief when you first put too much of the concoction into the waffle maker. You will become a waffle queen in no time. Much love from Italy Katie

I don’t care what could have been done better, you are still an inspiration! Taking on the daunting task of a renovation all by yourself, in a foreign country to boot, says something about resilience and character. Your dress looks great and the colour suits you very well! 😊 As for the waffles… use a bit of butter on both sides of the iron. Despite being non stick , it does help with doughy foods . Once you figure out the waffle maker, you will be the local waffle queen of your region 😂. Life is too short not to enjoy things that make you happy!.

Hey Rose, when your fruit trees are young is the best time to decide what overall shape you want... vase or central leader. Because your fruit will want to 'see' the sun to ripen, by pruning in the right shape means you will end up with fewer major branches, less overlapping branches and more fruit in the long run!

The dress now. I worked at two competing clothing stores at the same time and none of my bosses would say anything even though I wasn't supposed to be because my sales were very good and my returns were wicked low. That dress suits you. I like the fact you changed it around. It turned out to be a very good dress. Great job!

I fully understand the Waffle Theory. Smiling is under rated. You, your sewing and building are amazing. You are a woman with fortitude. When trying on a sewing project mid ugly stage, ironing the garment can be helpful. I'm going to go find my waffle maker and dust it off then eat on my balcony over my garden, just for the smiles. Thanks for that 😊❤ Debra from Michigan, 70 1/2.
