Unfortunately Steve's play to save Yawgmoth doesn't work, Yawgmoth has protection from humans, so as he is a human, he can't target himself with -1/-1 counters.

Sadly I had previously made a deal that the kenriths transformation could not be used against him - I think I would have been ok to use it had it been 1v1 but it’s a tough one for sure 🤷‍♂️

​@TheChadMagic Also Hullbreaker can return spells on the stack back to hand, so even if it was targeted with KT as long as Christian had spells to play at instant speed it would have gotten bounced anyway. But good on you for remembering the deal, I had forgotten about that.
