Eddie, Lou and Dana, Thank you for filming and posting, both the meditation video in the park, and Eddie's story. I did the meditation, which was so nice, and am considering taking his course. I like that he deconstructs the process and is normal about it. He's a normal guy who is an excellent teacher. I like that Lou and Dana are so calm and do not get caught up in frustration, (two things to which I aspire). Thank you so very much for these two videos!

I canna do all the nature sounds as my mind is already to active. LOL I'm watching Mr Vero's videos here, and will practice with my calmer sounds - waves on the beach.*ss* God bless and hugs from Michigan.

After that introduction to meditation, now his story makes everything make more sense. With several lifestyle changes I've chosen to pursue like going vegan and minimalist, I should really include meditation. It all comes in together for my goal to manage stress manifesting physically, emotionally, and mentally. Maybe this is the missing piece in all these changes I have chosen. Thank you Lou, Dana, and Eddy!

giea :) thank you thank you - this is such a beautiful note and exactly why this video means so much to me. i completely believe that meditation was the missing link for me in finding myself and creating the world i wanted to inhabit. it has been the most incredible anxiety and stress management tool and i can't speak more highly of Eddy as a teacher. We so appreciate your presence on our channel and can't wait to make more inspiring content for you in the coming weeks! much love from berlin :)

I like how you guys capture your audio in all of your videos and how the sound effects of objects stand out more. Great Job!
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for noticing the audio! LOVE it when we get comments about audio because theres a ton of layers below the video to make everything sound really nice but most of the time people don't really notice, which is kind of the point with audio, but its cool to hear from people who do : )

Hi Mozz! Thanks so much for watching and letting us know where you're coming from. IT really blows my mind that are videos are reaching all these different corners of the planet. I just feel so humbled to get to share our perspective here and so happy that you were able to connect to Eddie's message in this video. Meditation really has changed our lives and hope that you find it inspiring too! Much love :) (ooo ps we have a bunch of spanish content that we made while we were in Peru if you go back to our earliest videos!! Would love to hear what you think of those!!)
@desamiss8 жыл бұрын
I wached your first episode in Peru and I loved it as well. You offered this whole new perspective of traveling consciously, when I was in Peru I came across many foreigners who were there just having a "good time", getting drunk every night and being disrespectful with the place and its people. I see through your eyes you are genuinely curious about the new culture you approach without being ethnocentric, just curious and that's pretty much shown in your videos! Ever since I watched this vid I've been trying meditation and really helped me. Thank you for taking the time to answer! (PS. I started reading the book you recommended once: "Early Retirement Extreme," looks really promising & life-changing so far!) Bye!
@WildWeRoam8 жыл бұрын
ahhh yess!! so happy to hear you picked up Early Retirement Extreme!! It definitely is an eye-opener, but Lou and I found it so helpful in creating a plan to figure out what is important in life. As for your reflections on our Peru content, we so appreciate the kind words. All I hope for our videos is that they spark that same curiosity for the world that Lou and I share. So a huge thank you for watching our videos and taking the time to share your reaction with us! :):)

Short on "how to". No problem. To experience the Transcendental Absolute, (Sat-Chit-Ananda), just access "Mahamritunjaya mantra - Sacred Sounds Choir", and Om Namah Shivaya - Shivananda Adi", and listen to each for 5 min per day for at least two weeks.. I also practice TM but the latter technique is for free.

This is so beautifully shot. How do you get the colours to look like that? Do you use colour grading in the editing process? Or is it a filter?
@WildWeRoam7 жыл бұрын
Hey Sam! Thanks so much for the kind comment :) As for editing we have quite the workflow: we shoot RAW files using magic lantern raw hack, then those files get converted to Cinema DNG sequences using the RAWMagic converter (25 dollars in the app store) then they get imported into Davinci Resolve Lite (free online) and then we color grade them by making them flat and then apply Hunter's Alexa LUT, then they get exported as DNxHD files in the highest possible quality level and then we edit those in Avid MC where they are the preferred compressed video format. Once the edit is done and the video is on KZbin Lou deletes the Cinema DNG sequences and the RAW files because we can't afford the amount of hard drive space keeping both those would entail--it's usually about 800GB per video, but once that's all deleted the DNxHD files are actually pretty small so its always less than 100GB per video, sometimes only like 20-30. So yeah, that's the workflow as of now, hope that helps a little!

Yeah this concept is kinda the opposite of that ; ) It's explained really well by Eckart Tolle ----Lou

@Plant Based Traveler Certainly opposite in conclusion. Though I think there are some interesting similarities in method between Cartesian doubt and meditation. It's at least superficially suggestive that Rene titled one of his books "Meditations on First Philosophy".

Have you ever tried meditating on the Word of God? The holy Scriptures will help you “see yourself up-close” which is the most rewarding experience true faith in your Creator can give, here and now; and the abundant possibility of life eternal in Jesus Christ/Creator.
