The Wilhelm Gustloff cruising to Sweden. The Wilhelm Gustloff was a cruise ship for the German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF) and used by the subsidiary organization Strength Through Joy (Kraft durch Freude, KdF). During WWII, The Wilhelm Gustloff served as a hospital ship then as a barracks ship until it would be eventually sunk by the Soviets in 1945 during Operation Hannibal.
