both "to like" and "to love" are like fire, and suffer the life's gusting winds. "to like" dies, but "to love" only gets stronger. We'll see Simon and Wilhelm in the next Season(s).

​@@DavidLS1 I think that most of the time, it is true, love in a couple does not last a lifetime; it ends. We see this happening to us and to the others all the time. But there are relatively rare couples fallen in love when they were very young and their feelings (whose nature changes a bit with aging, it's unavoidable) lasted till the end of their lives. In both cases, it is still love. There is not better or worse quality here, I think. To mention the story of Wilhelm and Simon, they are crazy in love but they are also only 16 years old in the story. I am aware that their feelings may well end some day. But they could also last a lifetime. I hope I made myself clear, I am not good at explaining myself.

Love your edit with the highlights and the song. It seems I should give this show a try... but Royals with a gay storyline have never been a good match. The stories always end up lacking on many issues of importance and I end up being completely disappointed.
